I'd love to see a blu-ray of The Blood on Satan's Claw. That was a pretty creepy horror movie from my childhood. They already released it in Europe. Hopefully, we'll see it here too.
Horrendous time in Labyrinth? Never heard that one before. What happened?
This is the first I've heard of this too.
I wonder what Tom Hanks thinks about He Knows You're Alone. Or George Clooney about Return to Horror High or Return of the Killer Tomatoes. Or Brad Pitt for Cutting Class.

I wonder if Scream Factory is trying to get it's hands on The Day of the Triffids (1963). It was fully restored and upgraded to HD, a few years ago. Can't wait to own a blu-ray copy!!
They also had a screening of it, I believe in Lincoln Center NYC, about three years ago. Wish I'd known, would've been great to see it on the big screen.

Yes that would be awesome but it depends on who owns it. I recall it being a Paramount title. And if so that doesnt bode well..

Our month-long "Shocktober" celebration continues with two more films to reveal: CARRIE - the 2002 TV-movie remake of Stephen King’s timeless tale of telekinetic revenge which stars Angela Bettis - and THE RAGE: CARRIE II - the 1999 theatrical sequel to Brian DePalma's original 1976 masterpiece and stars Amy Irving - will make their debut on the Blu-ray format next Spring as a double-feature.
There are no details on extras at this time (if any are planned) and they will be announced sometime next year, along with a confirmed street date.
On a relevant side note (and in case you were wondering): We did try to acquire the Sissy Spacek classic last year in the hopes of doing a “Collector’s Edition” version and a new transfer but it did not pan out for various reasons. We can’t get them all.

I do not own it, but there's a cool Carrie 2-pack Blu-ray set out right now that includes the 1976 and the 2013 version. If you buy this double feature along with the upcoming Scream double feature, then you'll be able to go through the entire Carrie-thon in one day.
The 2013 version takes a lot of flak around here, but I liked it almost as much as the original film.
The 2002 television remake with Angela Bettis is really good, and I'm happy to see Scream Factory bring it back to life. For those of you who are fans of Ginger Snaps, it's worth noting that Katharine Isabelle stars in this film as one of the meanies.

Atleast SF is trying to get horror movies that need new transfers. Really wish they could of got the Original Carrie that movie needs a new transfer bad.
Looks like its with Ignite Films - DVD Aficionado had a posting
We'll see.. it would be another great title to add to the blu ray collection
Here's a cool article on Triffids 1962. They've been following the restoration for years. Allegedly, the restoration was completed in 2009, but no American DVD/Blu-Ray company has offered to license it. Then again, it hasn't had a restored release in Europe either. Maybe Ignite Films is asking way too much for it???
Like a typical DePalma film of the era, the transfer looks like they slathered Vaseline on the camera lens. Artistic choice so I don't think much can be done about it. Still, I'd be curious to see the final results of a true restoration but don't realistically expect one. The MGM DVD was packed with extras, though.
