I'm thrilled about the "Beetlejuice" Animated Series acquisition as I've been hoping to see a release for that show for years. But, more importantly, my interest is very much peaked about Warner licensing to Shout. Could this be a glimmer of hope that Warner may be loosening their grip on their vaults? It's always been clear about films but has Warner ever licensed out television shows in the past, my memory is a little foggy. Thanks in advance!

No, TV and Film are two different departments

In Walmart last week, I noticed a Stephen King Triple Terror Collection on DVD that included The Shining (TV), IT and Salem's Lot on 6 discs by Warner Bros. Checking Amazon, it was released this year, so Warner is at least interested enough in these titles to put them on DVD.

I didn't look at it that close since it was DVD... oh well, maybe they will make it to BD one day.

Shout Factory should be aware that Google's Gmail thought that email for They Live today was spam. If I didn't regularly check my spam folder on Gmail, I would have never seen it.

Hey Cmac, what about picking up "Trick or Treat"....the one with Ozzie as the minister raging against heavy metal, and the kid that plays the album backwards that brings back the singer (I think that's how it went!). Gene Simmons had a cameo too, I think.

Fastway song "Get you after midnight" rocked!

Can't imagine there is a good print anywhere....

Good suggestion. I haven't seen it since it first appeared on cable in the 80s.

I hope so, really, but they would have to clear the music rights to that one.

That chick in 'Squirm' with the huge, hilarious platform/high-heels on is enough reason to have this on Blu. It is so funny when at the end
[Show spoiler]she's hiding in that box and her feet with those huge shoes come out of the box first
lol.

"Trick or Treat"!
It was discussed a few weeks back, in this thread. Someone posted some really neat coverart too. The consensus was this release would be highly doubtful!

What are the odds of SQUIRM coming out through Shout? Also, wouldn't it be cool if it did come out if Shout used that awesome original poster art for the main cover? MGM's cover was all kinds of hideousness
