As long as they stop with Hellraiser 2 or 3. I plan on collecting every Scream Factory release, but Hellraiser 4-onwards would really make me reconsider that

The only way I'd ever pick up "Hellraiser: Bloodline" is if it was a restored director's cut, and with that one currently still with Dimension I believe, it seems highly unlikely that it could happen.

"Hellbound: Hellraiser II" truly deserves a proper blu-ray release, it's as good as the original if not better in some opinions. And "Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth" is fun, a slight decline in quality, for me that's where the series ends.

The Fury would be my De Palma preference as well.

Im going to go with Endless Descent & the Borrower again, although..The Horror Show, Scanner Cop are possible as well. I dont think Scanner Cop has had a USA DVD release, but I could be wrong. My wish list for this era is Endless Descent and the Kindred but I know the Kindred isnt happening..

I really hope not....
Let's hope they're just rumors... I seriously hate TT, their releases are expensive, limited and usually don't include the previous special features. Body Double had some great extras and I just know it would still end up being a barebones release. As for The Fury....at least it didn't have any special features....Too bad, Scream couldn't get the rights.

Completely agree, Hellraiser II is one of those rare sequels that is as good or even better than the first one. It's a shame that it got such a terrible release and it didn't include any of the great special features.
As for Hellraiser III....it's the death of the series as it started all the goofiness and nonsense that plagued the following films. What an awful movie, it doesn't even make much sense at times. Hellraiser should have ended with the second one....sigh.

I wish the DePalma hint was reffering to "The Phantom of the Paradise". It was phenomenal, although it is a Fox title, and its already been shot down for person reasons involving the president of 20th Century Fox being married to the lead character of the film... Lol.

But there's always a re-release of "Dressed to Kill". It could be a "biggie" title, but more than likely not. Even though "Halloween II" got re-released, I don't see it happening for man if any Blu-Ray titles...

Next Friday I foresee
The Fog
Carrie - upgrade
the Howling
Without Warning
Squirm
Frogs
Invaders from Mars 1986
Dolls
The Burning
Fright Night II ( shot down yes, but only to save it for next Friday)
Tales from the Crypt / Vault of Horror

I am really hopeful Im right about some or most of these...I can see a couple of first time to DVD release there as well...

It's possible that tommorrow's announcements won't be MGM titles. The announcement last week pretty much opened the door to all sorts of oddball acquisitions.

You can always get the region free French release...a pretty solid effort.

But I agree...we need MUCH MORE DePalma on Blu!

** EXCLUSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT**

The much-requested THE HORROR SHOW (1989 - with Lance Henriksen and also known as "House III" in some circles) and THE VAGRANT (1992 - starring Bill Paxton) will finally make their debuts on DVD in 2013.

More specific details on these two next year. Happy Friday!

Fantastic announcement! Love both of these and I've been calling The Vagrant for a while now, more in hope rather than expectation.

2013 will be the best year for horror fans in a long time.

Just one question Cliff - will The Horror Show be the unrated version right? Only the AB UK DVD was slightly cut.

I suspect of all the recent announcements The Horror Show has a very good chance of being on Blu-ray. I think both of these titles could sell well on their own.

Not that I don't appreciate the efforts of everyone here, but why even bother posting the new release info if they are only DVD releases.

The Horror Show might sell on its own. The Vagrant...I doubt it.

We have no idea if either of these will get blu-ray releases. Shout won't confirm anything until next year, most likely. The announcement mentions dvd only, but that could change.
