Dang Christmas Trees lol. Yeah I have just ran completely out of shelf space too, I think I am going to by another wall unit. I got quite the hall though in a few months, I am moving from upstate NY to Tallahassee Florida and have to get all these blu-rays and units down there...not looking forward to that.

Ive been to upstate NY and Florida before .. I concur if I move it will be a drag. I never thought Id own so many movies, and even cut back on duplicates.. but with all the new movies I like ( Guardians of the Galaxy) , first time ever released older movies on blu ray that I liked ( the Long Goodbye, Hausu) on top of stuff that I upgraded to blu (Pumpkinhead,Squirm,etc) I seem to be running out of space again

I enjoy William Castle films, but I suspect home video presentations, sans gimmicks, audience plants and audience participation, may not be the best way to experience and appreciate most of his films. The Tingler, for example, would probably offer a much better experience with an actual "Percepto" system in play. If I'm not mistaken, 13 Ghosts is the only film of his where the studio actually tried to replicate the film's gimmick in a home video setting.

Exactly, doesn't work on home video, they just become annoying and silly. Can't fault the original film for that though.

I know same here, just bought a whole wall unit last year and thought it would take me so long to fill it but here we are less than a year later and it is completely filled with blu's having to be stocked in a pile again! I wanted to see what Prime movies were free and I stumbled across it, I couldn't believe it. they have a lot of euro horror and other obscure stuff I want to try. I saw one called Mutant Species which sounded interesting along with Cave of the Dead ..they had MGM HD ones as well

So far I'm 0/2 in Scream Factory movies I've never seen that I watched and didn't like. John Carpenter's the Fog and Funhouse. Hopefully out of all of the other ones I have I will like something. Maybe I just don't like the cheesy movies .

It's a shame, those are 80's classic's. Not cheesy at all imo. If you didn't like those then I don't think you'll like any of Screams other titles from the 80's.

I don't care for those two either. I say try The Howling, From Beyond, Halloween III, Lifeforce, and They Live if looking for something special.

I love the Fog ! Thats a great one IMO, but the Funhouse I thought was a piece of crap

I have to say I am with demonknight here, personal preference here of course but I don't care much for The Fog or The Funhouse either but like the ones DK mentioned, especially Lifeforce, Halloween III, and The Howling.

The Fog is definitely not cheesy, if anything classy but I find it semi boring and dull(I do love the cinematography and score however) but Lifeforce is cheesy and just awesome which is why I love it so.

The Funhouse and Terror Train were two one the worst releases Scream put out it my opinion, yet highly popular and liked by many.

One of my favorites releases of theirs is the Terrorvision/Video Dead double bill however, to teach their own.

LOL..I liked Terror Train to an extent.. and Terrorvision to me was more crap. I liked the monster but the characters / story didnt interest me. Not my kind of film..
The Fog moves in that methodical pace that I really enjoy...

Terror Train has always been a good movie to me and The Funhouse I've grown to appreciate more and more throughout the years.. the music, the direction, the creepy setting, the intense finale... it's actually one of Tobe Hooper's best films imo...

Terrorvision is a fun lark but nowhere near the same quality....

Just received official word: Although we have plenty of extras in store for the release, we unfortunately cannot do a new scan of transfer because our licensor does not have any film elements for us to do so.

Yeah, that was posted earlier in the week, in the Dog Soldiers thread. Kind of a bummer, but I will still be placing my order as I've never owned this releases on any format. I understand with 16mm film as the source the transfer is going to be all over the place, unless properly done. Oh well, I'm looking forward to the new extras.
