As a huge fan of Sleepaway 2 and 3, I'm certainly glad it isn't going to be a double feature. A double feature release tends to indicate that the two films aren't strong enough or worthy enough to stand on their own. Plus, the cover art is compromised.

Just curious, has anyone found the pre-order link for "Dog Soldiers" on Amazon yet? I can't seem to find it.

Usually Blu-ray.com will have the links to it but they only have the "email to be notified when it's available for preorder" message.

Not sure how well suited it is for scream, but I'd really like to re-watch Turistas. It's been a while since I've seen that one. Anyone heard anything about this one? Could be a little too new for a scream release.

TURISTAS is one of the better recent horror flicks. Got tired of waiting for a US Blu-ray so I picked up the UK release under the title 'Paradise Lost', which I believe is region-free (don't recall at the moment). I would gladly double dip if Scream Factory were to release it.

I recently imported that one as well. Haven't watched the blu yet, but it was super cheap and I was ordering a lot of other horror movies from Amazon UK that day so I figured what the hell....

I wouldn't necessarily agree that Scream is on its last legs, however there have been a lot of mediocre releases lately. They need a few high profile releases in 2015. Mad Max and Escape from New York are a promising start for 2015.

From what I see on AMAZON.UK, it's region B/2 locked. And yes, it's called Paradise Lost.

I haven't played mine yet, but it is listed as "B LOCKED" here on blu-ray.com

Amazon isn't reliable when it comes to region coding.

When it says "locked" here, that means one of the contributors tried it and verified it was locked.

I've been shouting on the street corner for a U.S. release of Turistas for quite some time now. It's a great flick through and through.

If Shout can work up a new deal with Universal, I would love to see them get their hands on The Hitcher II: I've Been Waiting / The Hitcher (2007) for a Double Feature similar to what they did with Carrie. This would be the next best thing to getting the original, plus I don't think they are that bad, honestly. The 2006 loose-remake of Black X-Mas would also be a great pickup for Scream Factory, IMO it's one of the most underrated horror films of the last decade.

Other somewhat recent titles that would be my dream-come-true if Shout Factory acquired:
- Slither
- Bubba Ho Tep
- Touristas
- Disturbing Behavior
- Cherry Falls
- The Loved Ones
- Session 9

My two biggest request, however, would be the awesome 2005 slasher film Cry_Wolf (with Universal), which I would probably call one of my Top 5 favorite horror films of the 2000's, and the missing-in-action movie The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007)!!

There's a huge chunk of the past decade missing on blu-ray, especially in relation to horror films. I would definitely be intrigued if Scream Factory checked into some of those movies, while also keeping the retro titles coming as well!

Good call on cry_wolf. Forgot about that one. If scream broke into some of the newer releases, I think they would be on to something!

The Directors of The Poughkeepsie Tapes are working on getting it out and this past summer it was suppose to be out on VOD. but got pulled at the last minute.

I can't remember much of Cry Wolf, wasn't it PG-13?
