The first one didn't have any loose ends to tie up.
I meant in the sense of having the series as a whole released on blu-Ray

And it sure has worked out well for Criterion.
As long as Scream keeps the CE slipcover spines uniform, as they have been doing, I'll be a happy camper.
Talking about feeling obligated, I am only missing a few CE's and I am thinking about picking them up, as they become available. I just love looking at the beauty of my Scream Factory BD shelf.

What do they have left as potential MGM titles left to announce? I was just recently thinking about that.

-After Midnight
-Disturbing Behavior
-The Dunwich Horror
-I, Madman
-The Island of Dr. Moreau
-Species II
-Strange Invaders

-The Curse / Curse 2: The Bite
-Full Moon High / Wicked Stepmother
-J.D.'s Revenge / Sugar Hill
-The Premature Burial / X: The Man With X-Ray Eyes

-The Vincent Price Collection, Vol. 3 (Madhouse / The Oblong Box / Theater of Blood / Scream and Scream Again / Tower of London / Twice Told Tales / War-Gods of the Deep)

Would LOVE J.D.'s Revenge!

I am hoping for a third Vincent Price collection set too.

Scorpion Releasing has dropped a couple of recent hints that seem to indicate that Kino Lorber will be releasing Sugar Hill.

https://www.facebook.com/scorpionrel...type=1&theater

MGM still has dozens of horror / horror-esque films that have not been exploited on the Blu-Ray format in the US (if at all). There are a few titles that might even be borderline as potential "Collector's Edition" titles, but it's mostly deep catalog fare that might not sell particularly well with Scream Factory's current target audience.

In no particular order and in no way complete:
  1. Stigmata
  2. Needful Things
  3. 10 to Midnight
  4. Burnt Offerings
  5. Bubba Ho-Tep
  6. The Resurrected
  7. The Little Girl Who Lived Down the Lane
  8. Lady in White
  9. Clownhouse
  10. Home Sweet Home
  11. Terror on Tour
  12. National Lampoon's Class Reunion
  13. Panga
  14. Spellcaster
  15. Zone Troopers
  16. Spellbinder
  17. Rockula
  18. Vicious Lips
  19. Troll
  20. Dark Tower
  21. Breeders
  22. Edge of Sanity
  23. Raw Meat
  24. Queen of Blood
  25. Monster Dog
  26. Old Dracula
  27. The Rift
  28. Creature / Titan Find
  29. House of the Long Shadows
  30. Screamtime
  31. Donovan's Brain
  32. Cry of the Banshee
  33. The House Where Evil Dwells
  34. Shredder
  35. Superbeast
  36. Solarbabies
  37. Night Visitor
  38. Highway to Hell
  39. Dead of Winter

There are a few films from the previously released All Night Horror Marathon and Movies 4 You bundles that might be worthy of a Blu-Ray upgrade ala Reptilicus and The Neanderthal Man, provided an HD-master exists or will exist in the near future.

Didn't realize about Sugar Hill and forgot about a portion.
Shout released Vicious Lips already. God that one sucked.

Scream does not have Theater of Blood (a shoot down and some hearsay) .. I really get this sneaking feeling that a lot of the Price films / 60s MGM titles (and 50s hopefully) are going to wind up with Kino. Its just a feeling Im getting , time will tell though as titles continue to be announced. All of these MGM titles are getting spread out so it will be interesting to see who announces what

I know I'm a few Days late to post this, but I tried to take some quality photos myself and they just weren't turning out. I only ended up with one Blu Ray for Christmas... the Indiana Jones Collection Set, but I did end up with quite a few horror film collectibles that my wife got me that I thought you folks might enjoy.

  15. Highway to Hell

I decided to do my own personal pruning and remove all the titles that if released would probably end up in double-features. Also, I left in the two Vincent Price titles since they could potentially be added to a third VP Collection. All the rest could be released as a mix of Collector's Editions and stand-alone releases and IMHO sell well enough to warrant non double-feature releases.

Again, this is all opinion.

Has SF/Shout released any movies on Blu that were owned by New Line/WB? I'm just curious because I think New Line/WB still have the rights to Critters.

I desperately need the 3-hour version of Needful Things on blu-ray in my life.

Maybe there will eventually be a Sleepaway Camp box set after the individual releases like Scream Factory did with Halloween and, wishful thinking here, will do with Phantasm.

There's supposed to be a new Critters "digital series" coming from WB in 2015/2016, so expect a Blu-ray release of the original (and maybe part 2) then.

I randomely came across news for that digital series today, which is what made me curious about the original movie. I hope to hell it's soon.

You have a wife that not only accepts your horror lifestyle but contributes to it? You sir are a lucky man.
