Stigmata is with MGM isn't it? That would be a good one. I enjoyed that movie.

Youre being way too defensive, pal

I was actually shocked that Alligator is available on blu-ray overseas. I had no idea. I found it by mistake, while searching for Deepstar Six. I didn't order it, because I can't tell if it's region free.

http://www.amazon.de/Alligator-1-Blu-ray-Robert-Forster/dp/B00DJM0BVY/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1421263340&sr=1-1&keywords=alligator+blu+ray

UPDATE:

See dsman71, a little research and I got my answer. It IS region free!!!

Yes there is a blu ray double disc with Alligator I and II - I read something that made me pass on it, whether it had no extras or the PQ wasn't great or something

Oh well, I guess it's not meant to be. For some reason, they can't ship to the US, even though Amazon Germany is the one that will fill the order. I order from them all the time, maybe it's a third party issue?

The blu ray reviews at Amazon.de aren't great for it. I have the Lionsgate DVD and an Import DVD of part II

I have the Lionsgate DVD as well. Not to bad looking (accept the awful cover), but looking forward to a hi-def release soon.

This is the cover it needs to have. In English of course.

Don't hold your breath.. sorry This may have reverted to the original rights owner...It was with Lionsgate. Maybe one day. Scream would love to release it, but they cant get the rights to it

It's so frustrating that these older horror/sci-fi movies, that most of these companies don't appreciate, can't get proper releases. Just give the titles to Scream or Scorpion, and let them do them justice.

What's more frustrating is the companies (such as Lionsgate) who hold on to the movie rights, refuse to share them and don't even release them.

Its 1080i and doesn't have the Lionsgate commentary, but to my knowledge the film(s) are uncut..

I saw that Alligator I & II double feature while browsing through an ebay seller's catalog and almost bought it but stopped short. Had no idea it existed - I figure if nobody's talking about it it's not worth buying . I may actually end up buying a copy if only to replace that crappy Lionsgate SyFy-channel-looking DVD cover. I don't mind that it's 1080i.

Speaking of Deepstar Six, I just received my copy from Amazon.jp (these guys are amazing - for just under $10 they ship everything express. I get everything in 2 days!). The BD comes in a cool-looking Criterion-type clear case. Of course, everything but the title is in Japanese but it doesn't matter to me one bit. Feels great to have something I want that nobody else in the world sells Screw Lionsgate.

I wont get it for awhile since I just ordered it - but I jumped at the German blu ray of Sometimes They Come Back. Of course SF will wind up announcing it tomorrow or something

I'd love to see SF to a CE for Alligator!
I saw that Deepstar Six BD on AmazonJP and had it in my order, but since most everything there is so expensive, I had to save it for the next order. A shame this hasn't been released in other parts of the world, but if that doesn't change, I'll go the same route you went.

I may have to order the Alligator Blu-ray as well.

I did order the Deepstar Six Blu-ray from Amazon.jp earlier today. Can't wait to see it. I have a R2 DVD copy I purchased from Amazon.UK. It's anamorphic widescreen, but it looks too fuzzy.

It's interesting how Scream and Shout have remained mum on this Babadook thing every time someone asks on Facebook. They've answered comments before and after posts about Babadook, so I am quite curious what is going on.
