Well... I have had the chanel on Roku for a couple of weeks, and the free version of the films are with commercials, if you want them without commercials then you have to pay, so they should say that on the email!

I thought my point was pretty simple: just because something already got a blu-ray release doesn't mean it can't be released again, whether it's 6 months later or 6 years later.

The point (f-ing hell) of bringing up THE SHADOW has nothing to do with Universal or even THE SHADOW. It was to point out that movies previously released by one studio have then been released by another REGARDLESS of deals previously set up or whatever. You guys are getting your pantaloons up in a bunch over technicalities. OF COURSE Shout! could make a deal with Anchor Bay (a smaller studio than Universal) and eventually release a proper HD release AFTER seeking a 35mm negative or print, which (if Shout! is considering any deal) would take some time to do.

So please bring up some technicality or whatever to turn what was simply a "wish/prayer/hope/what if?" into something it never was: an argument.

Okay Godzilla.. your turn!
I'm pretty sure that there is a loss in translation of some sort here. You have a point. A rerelease is possible. A rerelease from Scream Factory of that particular title is, as of this moment, not though. Can we just be friendly now?

I decided to ignore the user because he was getting too emotional over a luxury that we should be thankful we can afford. He would never sit across the table from me or others spewing the same ca-ca that he does in the forum. I really dont like wasting time with the back and forth quote this quote that. One person makes a point, and someone else makes a different point. Shouldnt that be the end of it

I dont know, but what I do know is Im going to lie down and watch some movies !!!!

Smart. I'm on a Best Picture nominee tangent. Not this year's, as I cannot get to a theater at the moment. Just watched Chicago. Heading into The Godfather.

I got this last night on my Roku, and watched an episode of the Garry Shandling Show. Man, is it sloooooow.

You have to watch 1:30 of commercials before the show starts. Unfortunately, it's so slow to load and play each commercial it's more like 5 minutes. Then there was 2 more commercial breaks during the show that's the same situation.

I don't mind having to watch commercials, but the total time waiting/watching commercials almost equaled the running time of the show.

I'm sorry if this is mentioned somewhere in this thread, but I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get replacment artwork for the movie "Squirm" I bought the movie on E-bay for $20 and the barcode has been cut out. I did know this was here when i bought it, but i didnt know it was as bad as it is. It wouldnt bother me... but I like the reversal artwork more than the regular art.

Have you tried emailing Scream to see if they had any. If they don't then your est bet is to find it on-line and print out a new cover.

If the barcode was punched out, those are free promo copies that were sent to reviewers. I highly doubt Scream (or any company for that matter) would replace artwork for that reason.

I'm not trying to get it for free. I'll gladly pay for the replacment artwork. I didnt even care that it was punched out to begin with but the reverse art is awesome.

Looking forward to Shout's Blu-ray releases of Class of 1984, the double feature of Ghoulies and Ghoulies II, Scarecrows, Sleepaway Camp II and Sleepaway Camp III. Hoping the transfer for the two Sleepaway Camp sequels is a fresh transfer like the transfer for Shout's Blu-ray release of the first Sleepaway Camp film.

Might get Shout's Blu-rays of Eve of Destruction and Fear City at some point, but I've noticed there's a Blu-ray.com listing for an Australian Blu-ray release of Fear City. How does the transfer and audio on the Australian Blu-ray compare to Shout's Blu-ray release?

Can't help with the sleeve but I've got a slipcover lying around if you're interested.

I imagine they will look good. They both aired on MGM HD a few years ago. You can see some pics to get an idea, keeping in mind the BD's would quite a bit better.

Someone should. Scream Factory or otherwise, I'm not picky. I think Alchemy, LLC (formerly Millennium Entertainment) would probably be the most likely candidate. If I'm not mistaken, they hold the license to all of the Hammer films that were released by Anchor Bay in the late 90's and early-mid 00's.

Lust for a Vampire is really awful in comparison to both of them, but yeah, I would buy it anyway. The only version available right now is a DVD-R version off Amazon :/
