From SF's FB page:

We haven't announced it yet but we will be taking a hiatus from our "Fear Friday" announcements after this weekend. It doesn't mean we don't have other stuff cooking...but we feel like we've announced enough at the moment.

If "Howling II" is announced I might have a heart attack. It's a rare sequel that's so bad it's good and almost more fun than the first, to me it never gets old. Not to mention the infectious theme that is played through out the film by that new wave punk band.

A double feature with the original and sequel would be ideal, but please let's leave the rest to someone else, I would hate to see Scream Factory waste their time with the rest of those Godawful sequels.

Oooh, I didn't think about Theater Of Blood. I'd love to upgrade my DVD of that.

I completely agree! It never crossed my mind as being a potential contender, but I'd love it! Never bought the dvd, but I remember seeing it on THIS tv a while back.

I wouldve bought the dvd, but I'm 20 and I wasn't "around" or caring about dvds during the early years! I'd love it on BD!!

I seriously doubt that "Howling" and "Howling 2" woulbe be a double feature. They could sell great individually. I'm hoping that they are both included in the big box set around Halloween! I hope its The Howling Collection!!

And Scream Factory has said on Facebook that the annoucement at HorrorHound will be for "6 Big Titles"!

• The Fog
• The Burning
• Prom Night 2
• Motel Hell
• Lifeforce
• Pumpkinhead

And alternates would be

• Howling/ Howling 2 (providing they're not the box set)
• Poltergeist 2/3
• Ghoulies 1/2

There are so many contenders, I'm just not sure about any except "The Fog"...

Six titles you say? Let the speculation begin!
Here the ones I think they will announce:
1)The Fog
2)The Burning
3)Lifeforce
4)Motel Hell
5)Scarecrows
6)Maybe The Howling/Carrie

I don't think its going to be announced. It was shot down, and they've said that they already announced all the universal titles, and they have no reason to lie. Maybe another future Universal deal could include this movie, but I don't see a reason why they'd hold off on announcing this one title that wouldve been announced with the first wave...

Are you seriously saying that Without Warning and The Burning are BIGGER titles than Prince of Darkness???! Just made my day!
Also stop with the Carrie nonsense, would ya?With the remake coming out next year, there's no way that MGM have signed off on it.

Unless they were trying to throw us off the scent.

Six more titles will bring the total projected 2013 slate to 24 films. Here's hoping Scream Factory is able to continue into 2014 and beyond.

Here's what they said on FB and it definitely sounds like there will be more announcements coming but probably not until the new year.

As most of you know, DVD Producer/Acquisitions Manager Cliff MacMillan and Marketing Director Jeff Nelson will be attending the HorrorHound convention in Indianapolis this weekend to talk and answer all things Scream Factory! Their panel is on 11/16 at 9:30PM EST where they will announce SIX big titles that are planned for Blu-ray releases next year.

The "Super Six" will also be announced here on our FB page later on in the evening and then we will be taking a bit of a break from our weekly Friday announcements going forward (or at least until the new year). No worries, as we still have other stuff brewing in the works. :-)

For attendees going to the event: There's been some rumors that we will be selling product this weekend but, unfortunately, we will not be this time around due to logistics and costs. :-(

WHAT WILL THE "SUPER SIX" BE? Find out this weekend and please feel free to say "Hi!" to Cliff and Jeff if you are at the convention.

Yes I am..youd be amazed how many people want and have wanted Without Warning. It is just as sought after as much as the Burning, and has never been officially released in the USA. It rivals Prince of Darkness. By the way, Prince of Darkness is with Universal and has been shot down many times and my choices had more to do with studios.Maybe you should READ all the posts about Prince of Darkness.

And in closing, I only say Carrie because it deserves a better release than bare-bones, it is with MGM and it is a big title. Probably wont be released but it is a big title. You call it nonsense, I call it logic. I dont care either way

If one of the "super six" turns out to be WITHOUT WARNING I will be happy. Everything else can be Blu-ray upgrades of previously released DVDs - it's all the same to me. My second choice would be ROLLING THUNDER even though it's not a horror film.

If any Universal titles are part of the annoucement, I'd vote Army Of Darkness and Child's Play 2!
