It definitely reads like a release announcement with the "Part 2" in there the way it is.

I don't love Fright Night 2 but I'd love to see it released. I can't imagine Scream hasn't been trying to track it down given its seemingly high demand but I feel like we would have heard something from someone if there was any movement on it.

What else has a Part 2?

No chance of this title happening but Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2.

I don't think "Part 2" it was a hint. They're merely acknowledging that this is the second "Friday the 13th" in as many months and will be celebrating like they did last month.

Last month they announced the Ghosthouse / Witchery double feature, I, Madman and a bunch of updates on previously announced titles.

I am perfectly fine with this. If Scream can't get a deal with any other major studio, I'd love it if they started releasing even more Italian stuff.

I'd love the "part 2" to turn out to mean they signed a deal with a 2nd studio (Come on Universal) and have access to a whole new fresh catalog of titles. (Tales from the Crypt Demon Knight/Bordello of Blood, Tales from the Hood, etc.)

Wishful thinking I'm sure. A Phantasm collection would be nice, but if they ever do get to release that, that just screams Comic Con announcement.
