From Scream Factory's Facebook page:

"We're sorry to have to report that fans of THE NEST will have to wait just a little longer for their mutant cockroach fix...

The release date has now been moved to 2/19 (it was previously 1/22) due to unforeseeable audio issues that we are fixing. We apologize for the slight delay and appreciate your patience".

It won't be Body Double, as that one is a Sony title.

I definitely wouldn't mind The Fury, though. I figured it was coming, but I didn't know from who (Shout, Twilight Time, Anchor Bay--damn, Fox is giving titles to everybody!).

The Fury would be great. I can also see Scream releasing Psycho II, but I get the impression these six will be just MGM titles. If they're not then it really opens up the floor.

id be open to the Fury as well...
When SF first did the Universal series, I kind of expected the Psycho sequels to come out, but then they said they hadnt any more Universal titles past the Seven Per Cent Solution. Of course things can change
I guess there was a bug in the audio for the Nest, but to be honest I can wait until February , so they have time to do it right and January is an expensive month for me already with
Criterion - The Man Who Knew Too Much,
Twilight Time's - Experiement in Terror
Shout Factory's Seven % Solution
Olive Films' Ticks ,
Warner Brothers Grand Hotel
Universal's Cape Fear

At least February I can have something and not be overloaded...
Even VCI pushed back Gorgo until March

As long as Lifeforce gets announced, I'll be happy. Of course that doesn't mean I wouldn't mind some other titles like The Fog or The Fury.

When asked on Facebook if they would be all MGM, they replied "Guess you'll just have to wait and see... "

-----
Wishlist but they arent big enough:
Cellar Dweller, Dolls, The Rift, the Car , The Kindred, Fright Night 2 ,Burnt Offerings
What everyone wants
Prince of Darkness & The Keep
Open to renting it if its announced:
Lifeforce, Mutilator, Motel Hell
Its big enough but I dont think it will be announced , but it is possible :
Pumpkinhead, Squirm, Frogs

My version of your list, although I think yours is pretty accurate.

The 6 That Will Be Announced

The Fog (This seems like a sure thing. One of my favourite films, please don't let me down.)
The Howling
The Howling 2: Your Sister is a Werewolf (One of the best so bad it's good films. Would be great to watch with Troll 2, Pieces, and Burial Ground)
The Burning
Dolls (Seems like a shoe in after the other Empire Pictures titles announced.)
Lifeforce

Other Possibilities

Scarecrows (This is a great film that I don't see too many asking for.)
Pumpkinhead (Good film, but I for some odd reason don't have a strong feeling about this one)
Carrie (With remake coming MGM may want to release this themselves)
Without Warning (Haven't seen this but has a small following and sounds good. Is it big enough though?)
The Brood (Maybe but I have a feeling Criterion got this one along with Scanners.)
Ghoulies/ Ghoulies 2 (These would have to be released together and I doubt two of the choices would go to these.)
New Year's Evil (I've heard that this film isn't that great.)

Even More Possibilities but I Doubt It

Burnt Offerings (I Love this film but don't know if too many others feel the same)
Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night 2 (They seem to love releasing sequels even if they don't have rights to the first film)
Lord of Illusions
Night of the Comet
The Phantom of the Opera (1989) (I hope not as this film wasn't very good)
Troll/ Troll 2 (Don't know how many would want this film if part 2 is not included, which definitely needs a SE or at least the excellent Best Worst Movie doc. included)
From a Whisper to a Scream
Motel Hell (Fun flick but don't think it's big enough)
Cellar Dweller (Don't know much about this one other then many on here seem to want it.)
Squirm (Don't think it's big enough.)
Frogs (Don't think it's big enough.)
Raw Meat

Would Love to See but Unlikely

Army of Darkness (This movie definitely needs a 2 disc set from Scream but probably not until they get soem more titles from Universal)
The Thing (This movie definitely needs a 2 disc set from Scream but probably not until they get soem more titles from Universal)
Prince of Darkness (Would love to see this but it sounds highly unlikely until they make another deal with Universal)
The Keep (A man can dream can't he?)
Fright Night 2 (A man can dream can't he?)
Clownhouse (Probably not due to the controversy surrounding this film.)
Tales from the Crypt / Vault of Horror

The Fall 2013 Boxset

Vincent Price Collection (Tales of Terror, Twice Told Tales, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, Dr. Phibes Rises Again!, Theater of Blood, Madhouse, Witchfinder General)

Other Possiblities

Amityville Horror 1-3
Child's Play 1-3
Phantasm 1-4 ( I would love this!)
Psycho 2-4 (I hear many saying these titles are too big, but they have never been given a SE treatment so I don't think they are that important to Universal)

HELLO MARY-LOU: PROM NIGHT II

Even in those long lists, people are ignoring this flick?!

Its MGM, and is the most fan-appreciated sequel in the "Prom Night" franchise.
I have them all on dvd and I don't expect them all to bump-up to BD, although I would love for a Prom Night Collection to be the boz set!!

Also, I think "Prom Night 2" is a million times more likely than the original, because it has been shot down multiple times, to the point they asked people to contact Echo Bridge with requests to let them get the rights... but I'd love it if they were just lying, as many of us would -i just doubt it.

I put it in mine,

Just saw that Rawhead Rex is part of Empire's catalog. Does anyone know if Cliff ever shot that one down?

Yes, I believe he has unfortunately. Along with "Night of the Demons" and "Fright Night Part II" I think.

He did shoot it down, sadly. It was requested on FB and on here, and both times he said no. That's the only Empire title he actually said "no" to, that I can't think of...

I like your ideas, but I cant see Howling II, its not big enough I dont think. I did rent it, it was so awful..campy and the music was horrendous...I dont think Dolls is big enough..(the movie, not the Dolls themselves ) Without Warning has a huge following all over the world..one of the most well known underground type of movies. I also like Burnt Offerings but I dont think it is big enough, depening on how SF defines BIG. Squirm is in the same boat, big enough ?

Seems like we all agree on the Fog, watch them announce it as the 6th film to make us squirm a little bit ha ha

The Howling 2 has a very large following, its more like a "so bad its good" movie. The Howling 2 has Christopher Lee and is impossibly cheesy!!

If Warner is shedding its skin for not liscensing out titles, I really hope Shout can snag some of there closeted movies:
On BD of course!

• The Changeling
• The 9th Configuration
• Killer Party
• Night School
• Its Alive trilogy
• Hammer films

And Criterion/ Olive have gotten through to WB, so why can't shout?!?

Yeah very much so, Lee couldnt save it and neither could Sybil Dannings breasts...
Lets say Carrie is a no - go , I could see Squirm, Pumpkinhead or Howling 2 then
Same for Without Warning or Lifeforce...the same 3..
Im getting a vibe about Squirm and having Scream using the original artwork which is generally considered superior to the more recent MGM releases.
**Warner is not shedding its skin by the way, they are quite possibly the largest distributor buying libraries from MGM, Paramount, etc and fully expect them to do what they will with their movies***
