Another HBO I'd like to see is Stephen King's "The Night Flyer".

That one isnt likely because from what I recall the director wants a label to do a remake of the movie, and then release the original in conjunction with that. Basically that means too much $$ to invest in it..

I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but it really bugs the crap out of me when peoples "Top Wants" are films that already have decent to good Blu Rays available. Rather than wishing for a double or triple dip, why not wish for something that hasn't had a release yet.

Tales from the Hood
Tales from the Crypt Demon Knight/Bordello of Blood
Psycho IV
Jaws 2-4
The Serpent and the Rainbow
Shocker
Phantasm 3-4
Village of the damned

Etc Etc should all be utilized before treading back into double/triple dip territory. I'm as much a fan of collectors editions as the next guy, but if I have to choose between buying the same movie a second or third time on blu ray just to get new art and some new commentaries OR getting a brand new film (even if it's barebones) on Blu Ray for the first time, I'm going to take the new film every single time.

I would love Slither, I have the Region B Australian release and it looks amazing.

I also think we might finally get
Tales From The Crypt Double Feature
Shocker
Village of the Damned
The Serpent and The Rainbow

Richard P. Rubinstein seems to be the person who controls the rights for The Night Flier.

I think this sequel is better than the original movie, which is boring as hell.

Speaking of best horror TV movies, anyone knows who has the rights to The Haunted with Sally Kirkland?
Now that was some scary shit.

As for Universal movies I'm aware of, I'll cross my fingers for

Island of Terror
Nightmares
The Serpent and the Rainbow
The Burbs
Matinee

I'd list Village of the Damned if Universal had the original 1960s movie

I COMPLETELY AGREE!!!

When a Stranger Calls... Back is infinitely and endlessly better than the first movie. I would do awful things in an alley to get that one on blu-ray.
I really hope they picked it up from Universal!

How about 1984's ICEMAN? Universal released a pathetic fullscreen DVD a few years ago but I always thought this film deserved a collector's edition.

They've already ruled out the Jaws sequels.

I'm glad I'm not the only one patiently waiting for Serpent and The Rainbow.

I think he means they were turned down just yesterday on their FB page.

BTW, another Universal title that escaped me when I made my wishlist is Rollercoaster.

I think it would be a toss-up whether or not it would be a Shout Factory or Scream Factory title, but either way it's definitely one of those movies that I can't believe isn't on blu-ray yet. Disaster films are pretty unrepresented on blu-ray at the moment, and getting this one would be a day one purchase for me!
