How exciting, where can we read the interview?

Interestingly enough, she won't be there. It's a pretty scaled down show since the work put into getting Jamie Lee Curtis must have been killer. There's only around 18 or so other guests going to be there.

I am conducting the interview exclusively for the AV Maniacs forums so once it's all ready, you can check it out there. Thanks for the interest!

ROLLING THUNDER
HELL NIGHT

Rolling Thunder isn't a horror film, so it wouldn't be a Scream release. Shout perhaps, but I don't think they'd announce it at a horror convention.

Wouldn't say 'The Island' is a horror movie either but they are releasing it.

The Island has horror elements, and DVDAf says 'Horror/Slasher and Survival'. Rolling Thunder is a straightforward revenge film.

Universal, last I checked. Pretty underwhelming DVD, could have at least used a music video by "The Dudes Of Wrath"

It's funny because, even when I upgrade to the Suspiria blu ray, I'll still never retire or get rid of my 3 disc Anchor Bay collector's DVD. I just love that thing so damned much. It looks so pretty on my shelf.

Oh God, no. This was one of those catalog titles that Universal just dumped onto DVD. We were frankly lucky to get a widescreen transfer, some Universal DVDs weren't so lucky (The Shadow, Timecop)

I hope for everyones sake Prince of Darkness gets announced...no matter how often it gets shot down everyone still wants it. If Scream releases it tonight, the requests will finally end and if not, the reiterration of "they arent releasing it" may come around again.
I know people want that title, and Fright Night II and Im sure if they could get them , they would. So if POD isnt announced I hope there wont be much disappointment because Im sure they will release other titles that we want...and are releasing things no one else would even bother doing...
Just a few more hours

Smile stupid ****ing people make me smile! :)

I could understand if they surprise announced "Prince of Darkness", BUT....

YOU ARE ****ING STUPID IF YOU LIST IT AS A "MOST LIKELY"!!!!

It has been said time and time again that its not gonna happen, so how is it most likely????? At best it could be listed as a "Wish List" title!!!!!

Its Universal, not Mgm.

If they had it, why not announce it WHEN THEY MADE THE UNIVERSAL DEAL!!
They announced "Phantasm II" and its far behind the others, so even if it was gonna come out months after their 1st wave, why did they announce "Phantasm II"

Yes, they said "we don't have it" to H2/H3, but that's because they hadn't even made an official announcement about any of their releases yet.

They said NO to "Shocker", "Village of the Damned", and other Universal titles - so is "Prince of Darkness" MORE valuable than EVERY other Universal Title?? I don't think so...
