To tell you the truth I didn't find the trailer very appealing either.
But I'm checking it out anyway first chance I get

That might just be the best title ever.

I agree with the "Horror being year round" part as I watch pretty much 85% horror for most of the year, however I was more referring to the fact that sales typically dip in Late October - December for Horror titles and so releasing a Horror film during those months (particularly November and December) doesn't make a lot of sense. I typically shut down my purchases following Halloween in preperation for Christmas, and I'm sure others do the same. January is also a pretty slow month for me, so that means titles released during November and December really aren't considered until February. I know everyone is different, but I'd be willing to wager that most shopping trends would support my patterns as well. Meaning Scream Factory essentially is shooting themselves in the foot if what you said is correct and a steady slate of titles skips July - September and instead releases during November & December. The one exception to this rule (in my mind) would be a Phantasm Box set. If that comes to fruition then perhaps Scream Factory is banking on a steady string of Christmas sales which admittedly, I'd be down for.

Well, they did say Oct - Dec.. , not Nov - Dec. Plus its all about having the tittles at a certain time and getting them ready for release. I guess they simply cant have these aforementioned older tittles ready in time.

Was wondering if someone could help me.
I am trying to order a couple of scream titles off Amazon.com however they wont ship a couple outside the US.
If I order from Amazon.ca would it be the same as the US release or do they have bilingual covers?

A lot of horror titles get released by studios in September / October which makes June/July the big announcement months from most of the studios. Im anticipating something big with Warner and the Hammer titles, Kino will have some horror in October as will Scream, but essentially both labels have been doing it all year. Even Criterion will have something for Sept/Oct

The KillerPOV podcast with Scream Factory is supposed to go up today at 1pm eastern time. There will probably be an announcement or two during the show.

Are the titles you're trying to buy being sold by Amazon or a third party seller? Amazon ships the products they sell internationally.

I'd say it's certainly worth a blind buy.
Along with Shocker its my most wanted scream tiytle too. The weird thing with Jack's Back is that i've recomended it to quite a few people and it always divides opinion, either they love it or its a disapointment, never seems to be any middle ground. An underrated gem for me.

I hope so, but do we not think Scream would have specifically mentioned that, as they usually do? Have they hinted at anything?

They've announced titles on their previous appearances on the podcast, so I'd say the odds are good.

Except for The Babadook, all Scream Factory releases are the same on both sides of the border. Certain titles aren't available in Canada due to licensing issues.

Hi, no direct from Amazon.com I have never had an issue before.

FYI its Invaders from Mars that is causing the issue.

The item says it ships to my address then when I go to check out it says it cant delivery to my country!
I have ordered though Amazon.ca now without an issue hoping it isn't a bilingual cover.

If Criterion doesn't announce the Brood this year for one of those months I'm going to lose my damn mind. They've been sitting on that release for 2+ years now.
