That sounds similar to Twilight Time but TT releases titles which haven't been released on Blu-ray yet. I'd like to see SF focus more on those hot sellers which have yet to be released rather than re-releasing titles that have already had one or more releases on Blu-ray.

I already have the Wonderful UK Steelbook trilogy set, so I can't imagine a much better release, however as their are some that won't import for any reason, this seems like a good franchise for the Scream Factory Line-up.
Synapse holds the rights for 2 and 3. Nothing's been said recently concerning those titles, and considering the other titles currently being worked on (specifically, Suspiria, Tenebrae, Phenomena and Popcorn), I don't expect to see them any time soon if they do plan to release them.

From what I've heard, the UK steelbook is pretty good, and should suffice for those wanting those titles...

As would I, but when it's hard to fault them for Mad Max when there was a fresh Sequel this summer to drum up interest. I mean it's pretty apparent that release was a success by the simple fact that it's been available in pretty much every retail store I've visited. Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy... yep, they all carried this ONE Scream Factory title. I've yet to see any other Scream Factory release locally with the exception that Best Buy did carry "The Fog" a few years back. Even my 2 local Barnes and Nobles don't carry anything from Scream Factory. With the increase in exposure, plus the free publicity generated by a new sequel, it would't surprise me if this was their best selling title to date.

It's Fantastic, and was available cheaply for a long time. I have owned it for years... I was merely throwing out ideas for films that have yet to see an official North American Release that would fit the Scream line up. Personally, I'm still hoping for Sorority House Massacre II.

I can't fault them for trying to remain financially successfully but I find it odd that a title like The People Under the Stairs is getting two releases so close to one another. I end up wondering what's the point; that isn't a knock on SF.

I wonder if Universal agreed to keep their release barebones because SF was going to be releasing it too. If SF was going to release this then why did Universal even bother with a release? Or did SF decide to re-release this because they knew Universal wasn't going to add any extras?

Who knows? Maybe Universal basically forced it upon them if they wanted to get the other Craven/Uni films.

Reviews from DVDTalk for Robot Jox, Howling II, and I, Madman. Everything looks good. Can't wait to watch Robot Jox today.

How do we actually go about sending REQUESTS to Scream? What is the best way?

Still waiting for these releases, and yes I know some are already out there, but a better edition is needed

Phantoms
Beastmaster
Rec 1
Rec 2
Candyman
Ghosts of Mars
Slither
House
In the Mouth of Madness
Mutants (French version)
The Burbs (I have the Arrow edition)

The Burbs will be handled by Universal themselves.

The best way? Posting to their Facebook page.

They don't do Sony so Screamers and Ghosts of Mars are out. In the Mouth of Madness is with WB and they usually don't outsource their films not to mention they've already released it.

The only ones on the list that Scream should touch are Candyman and House which are excellent and should be on blu ray by now. The In the Mouth of madness that is out now is a pretty great edition.

Ghost of Mars should stay locked away as it is the nadir of Carpenter

They read this thread, so here is fine. Their Facebook is another option.

When you make suggestions, it's good to do your homework and find out if a film is owned by Lionsgate, WB, Image, or Paramount (or any other studio that won't license to them) before asking.

A Stephen King made for TV miniseries which might be right up their alley is Storm of the Century but does anyone know who owns it?

Trimark originally released it on DVD back in 1999 and Echo Bridge rereleased it on DVD three years ago but it looks like they no longer have the home video rights. As far as I'm away EB doesn't license from Sony so I don't believe they have it.

If Storm of the Century were to get a Blu Ray release ahead of "It", The Stand, or The Langoliers I think I might riot.

I'd love to see those released too. The Stand and The Langoliers are with Paramount and It with WB so there is no way Scream Factory will be releasing those. I've been waiting for WB to get off their rump and release It for as long as I can remember but we're at their mercy.

I'd also like to see Rose Red get a Blu-ray release.

It is getting a remake, so expect a Blu-ray soon to cash in on the upcoming movie.

Actually that remake is on hold and may be called off since the director dropped out.

I think it's owned by Greengrass Productions, Inc. (ABC). Echo Bridge seems to have the home video rights, still; they rereleased it last year in two separate packages.

The 2012 release probably went OOP because of the Miramax title that was bundled with it (Children of the Corn II).

I'm reasonably sure that "Storm of the Century" is currently with Lionsgate. I think the Echo Bridge DVD is a licensing deal.
