Oh, facebook feedback was overwhelmingly positive I see. Then that negative impression I got was from the anti-packaging crowd here then

I always assumed that poll was less about winners and losers and more about gauging interest in general. They never made any promises that a vote one way or the other would be a deciding factor.

Yes, it was just to gauge interest, so it's certainly not guaranteed or anything. I think the overall feedback they got will lead them to release one at least, and see how well it does.

Yes, nice thriller that fits well in Scream since they do thrillers besides sci-fi and horror.

Universal are never going to volunteer to do this unless they think there's significant money in it for them. Shout (or whomever) would really have to push and persuade them it was worth the effort. Getting Stallone on board would be a huge coup (I know he's spoken in the past of his interest in a restoration project).

Maybe just have the x-rated violence that was deleted in deleted scenes.

How about Cherry Falls uncut?

Okay, maybe there are a few more fun facts we can provide. If you’re SDCC-bound, you’ll want to read on! The Shout! booth is bigger, better and even easier to find this year. We’re near the front doors, across from Nickelodeon, Starz and BBC America. We think we’re in great company! Here’s a rundown of our planned antics. Be sure to follow on Facebook and Twitter for updates and announcements.

Fremiums Galore

What’s free, you ask? We have a couple exclusives and several handouts, all available while supplies last. Just stop by and ask for them!
  • Brand-new Scream Factory button packs featuring great art from five upcoming releases.
  • My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Friendship Games buttons
  • Shout! Factory tote bags
  • Shout! Factory TV screen wipes

We’ll even let you keep the postcards!

My Little Pony Costume Contest: Is your My Little Pony cosplay so good even Rarity would be impressed? Come show us! If you are dressed as a My Little Pony character, come to our booth and have your picture taken in the green-screen photo booth to enter. Each day (Thursday- Sunday) one winner will be selected to receive a $100 American Express gift card. The grand prize winner gets a $150 American Express gift card PLUS an entire set of EVERY My Little Pony release by Shout! Kids. No purchase necessary. Rules and restrictions apply.

That would be better than nothing... but it really belongs back in the movie.

They'll also have copies of People Under the Stairs available at the booth as well (a whole month before the release date).

Not only is Scream Factory announcing 10 titles, but so is Shout Factory. They will be announcing something too. This was on Screams FB page. Not sure how many titles. They have a booth right next to Famous Monsters Im glad there is carpeting in my place so if they really do announce the old Classic Media Godzilla movies Im going to faint lol. Its really one of those coincidences that I cant let slide !

Do they have any Kaiju releases that are currently in print? Seems odd they'd be doing a collaboration like that if they AREN'T planning on announcing something Godzilla-related (couldn't be Gamera since that set of every movie other than Gamera the Brave just came out from a different label). Especially considering they actually mention Godzilla in there.

If these Godzilla films are part of the 10 film announcements can I start complaining now, or do I have to wait until it's official?

I'm happy to see the films released don't get me wrong, but if several of the announcements are eaten up by Godzilla films I'm going to be quite disappointed. Hopefully this is a separate announcement and not part of what Scream was planning for Comic-Con.

Well, Classic Media only has 5 of them that aren't already on blu-ray so that would be the absolute max! I bet they'd be released under Shout factory as well, meaning that it wouldn't eat up any of the "Scream" announcements?

As for Shout, I wouldn't be surprised if they announced another super sentai series for dvd, Dairanger would be my guess.

Classic Media has
Godzilla (on blu twice already in the USA)
Godzilla Raids Again
G vs. Mothra
Ghidorah
Monster Zero
Godzillas Revenge
Terror of MG
Rodan
War of the Gargantuas

I will go out on a limb and say Shout has them all and its going to be a mega box set.. based on on the FM Email to customers..
Something else.. what if Shout also licensed Son of Godzilla AND Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla as well to go with the Classic Media titles ?

Who agrees that maybe Cherry Falls uncut CE would be a nice announcement?

Nope I think its really the Classic Media Godzillas , Rodan, War of the Gargantuas..
And possibly Son of Godzilla and Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 1974..

I think a huge box set with all of these titles would be major awesome. I think Shout lost the rights to the Gamera movies, and Mill Creek picked them up..
