Fright Night (1985) has just been added again.. I hope it's because shout is going to release it.. especially hope they release Fright Night 2 (1988)

Both are not at all likely. The first one is with Sony, and Twilight Time has blu ray rights. Part II is with Lionsgate according to the various DVD labels that have wanted it.

-Dead Alive
-Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth
Dead Alive isn't with Lionsgate anymore. It's just with Jackson.

I echo this statement.

Deadly Eyes is balls-to-the wall insane. It's utterly hilarious to watch but it's so much fun at the same time. The special features on this one are also top-notch.

Yep, Deadly eyes is fantastic! One of my favourite surprises from Scream. That rat attack scene during the Bruce Lee marathon was worth the price of admission alone!

Unfortunately, any member can submit titles to the database. It makes no sense why this was added again when there are legitimate existing entries.

This is a pretty realistic list, and although I want most of those, I have to admit I would be slightly disappointed if this was all that they announced.

If they didn't save the Tales films or Army of Darkness for the event, I hope that means they have at least one or two titles to announce that are in the same league as those, and none of those (Maybe Dead Alive) are in my opinion, at least as far as mainstream popularity.

I'm really hoping for a Phantasm or Dead collection to cap off the night! The Thing or the Jaws sequels would also be large pickups to get people talking.

The recent Arrow announcement of Hellraiser 1-3 has me wondering: could Shout possibly have a Hellraiser set of their own to announce at SDCC? I know Hellraiser 1/2 have been tied up with Image, but they put those out about 4 years ago. Maybe Shout and ol' Clive Barker worked their magic to put some kind of set together? Maybe?...Possibly?....

If a Hellraiser set was possible; wouldn't Arrow have nabbed the US rights as well?

I hope this wasn't their "Kaiju-sized" announcement

Maybe they tried, but couldn't get it done. Hell, maybe Clive made a personal phone call to Image to make the deal happen with Shout. I'm just throwing a guess out there, to spice things up...

That's not that implausible, considering SF's recent history working with Barker.

It has already been confirmed that Shout Factory owns (at least streaming) rights to some classic Godzilla films - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=251039

Scream Factory's work on Nightbreed was epic; that's easily my favorite release from them so far. If Hellraiser got a similar treatment I would buy it.

God I hope so. At the very least I expect SOMEONE to release Hellraiser III this Fall. I'd be all over a Hellraiser set for sure as long as it included part 3. I'd love to see the Halloween collection treatment given to Hellraiser despite how bad the last few entries are.

When I first saw it my initial reaction was a hearty "meh", but its been growing on me over time. Gonna have to watch it again because I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger

Hellrasier III is with Echo Bridge, so if or when they lose the rights, one can hope Scream gets it

??? not true. Hellrasier III is owned by Miramax, who USED to have their titles distrubuted by Echo Bridge. Hellraiser III IS a possibilty since there is a reationship between Miramax & Shout (through their colaboration with Anchor Bay for the Halloween set). There also a posibilty for it to be realsed through Lionsgate, since they have a contract with Miramax to distribute their catalog.

Actually no there isnt. Shout bought printed discs from Miramax/Lionsgate, etc for the Halloween titles that they own, hence Lionsgate is releasing the Producers Cut of Halloween 6. It's their film and always has been. Shout didnt get the rights to the films. Echo Bridge released Hellraiser 3 on blu ray, theyve had the film since 2011 and have released it in HD several times already.
On top of that, Shout has shot them down several times.. Miramax and Shout do not have that much of a relationship. Shout would probably need to wait for the rights to expire in order to grab their titles
Parts 1 and 2 are with Image on top of that
