Not to good with predictions so instead my wishlist is: Dawn Of The Dead, Fright Night Part II and Death Becomes Her. An unlikely list but a guy can hope.

That dude was referring to the Evil Dead trilogy obviously.

What happens if they made a deal with Lionsgate!!! Imagine if that's their announcement. Now that would be a surprise.

It already got a Blu-ray release from Lionsgate.
The Lionsgate Blu-ray is now OOP and WB re-released it on DVD in 2013, but no Blu-ray, so it seems the home distribution rights reverted back to Paramount and are wrapped in the WB deal. It's unlikely Scream will get this unless the studios don't renew their deal.

The only thing I'm going to predict are Carpenter titles from Universal

The Jaws sequels would not surprise me at all either

I agree, but that tends to be how they work.

I too hope they have one or two titles from a surprise company. Universal usually only allows them to take so many titles at once, so it's possible they made another deal with Fox, and some releases could be from them. If that is the case, Fly 2 would all be but a guarantee.

That's why I'm hoping for a surprise deal for the Phantasm films, Romero Dead trilogy, or even the early Peter Jackson horror films.

Except that Romero's Dead Trilogy isn't a trilogy anymore. I think, at last count, they're clocking in at 6 movies.

Yeah but the other ones have decent releases and don't have much of a fan base. I guess Land is with Universal and could use a better release. Scream released the Amityville trilogy ignoring the later sequels, I'm sure they would do the same if they got Romero's films.

Yes but for many people the films really end with DAY OF THE DEAD. They certainly do for me

Personally, I know these are not going to make the cut, but these are the films I hope one day SCREAM puts out. And no need to go through who has who. This is just a SCREAM wishlist.

From the ones posted recently, I would definitely take
The Thing
Tremors

What I would want
Screamers (Peter Weller)
Phantoms
Beastmaster
Rec 1 and 2
Candyman
Ghosts of Mars
Slither
House
Mutants (the french zombie film)
Mothman Prophecies
Pontypool
Yellowbrickroad

I really liked Survival. Diary was depressingly bad, though.

Looks like one of Shout's upcoming announcements may have been spoiled, by Movies Unlimited no less. They put up a pre-order for The Car (1977).

If true then Shout needs to stop sending these out to the retailers prior to their official announcements.
