I would love to see a release of the show FEAR ITSELF. I thiught they had a few solid episodes and was sad to see it go.

I'm hoping there is some kind of free shipping deal during the sale. I would love to preorder some things, but the shipping costs from Shout always deter me.

If they are gonna release Human Centipede 3, how about another extreme horror cult classic on BD from these guys being The Untold Story (aka Bunman)? that needs a re-issue badly or Tetsuo The Iron Man.

And who wants a CE of Perfect Blue?

Scream's announcements were expected. We all knew they were able to work out another deal with Universal, thus giving us...

The Car, Ghost Story, Nightmares, the Guardian, Deat Becomes Her, The Sentinel and The Legacy, etc.

Hopefully their next batch of Universal Titles will include ..Village of the Damned, SSSSSS and Raising Cain.

I hope they, or another label will release Lady in White, After Dark, Windows, House Where Evil Dwells and a remastered Carrie (criterion?)...

Overall, a nice batch of new blurays coming out way......

Is Shout/Scream the only one currently licensing Universal titles?

Universal has been sitting on Brotherhood of the Wolf and has only released it on DVD. This would probably be more of a Shout, than Scream, title if they were to release it.

Yes, aside from Criterion who has virtually dealt with every studio at some point, Shout is the only other distributor to cut deals with Universal. As long as the relationship remains beneficial for both parties, I see no reason why a third Universal deal couldn't be reached at a later date.

I remember there were rumors of TT getting a partnership with Universal, but nothing came of that.

It will be. A huge hit, I mean. I'm not much of an x-files fan, but the fan base is enormous.

The revival would really have to go out of its way to be terrible in order to be a commercial failure.

It seems everyone has tapped into the MGM catalog but some of the other studios are another story.

Disney - N/A; Mill Creek
Lionsgate - N/A
Universal - Shout; TCM, Criterion
Sony - Twilight Time, Image, Mill Creek; TCM
Fox - Twilight Time, Starz / Anchor Bay; Criterion
MGM - Twilight Time, Shout, Olive, Kino; Criterion

In Canada here and due to rights issues, both Squirm and Dog Soldiers aren't available here. Can someone help me out with obtaining these two titles?

Shout just announced Living in Oblivion (1995) which Sony has the rights to. I wonder if this is a sign that they may be able to sub-license Sony titles in the future?

Paramount has licensed to Lionsgate, Legend, Olive, Criterion, and Shout Factory--in addition to WB.

From recent years, the only film titles I can recall Shout licensing from them has been The Walking Tall Trilogy and The Duellists.

Hmm, I might have to check that one out but it will have to go on the wish list for now.

That is an interesting one and falls under the Sony Pictures Classics label, I believe. Even though Shout, and not Scream, is releasing it maybe there goes the "won't license because Sony won't allow extras" issue.
