Well, as it turns out, The Hitcher is not actually in HD on Cinemax. It is most definitely in SD and cropped to 4x3. Forget about any chance of a blu release anytime soon.

I've noticed that Neon Maniacs on Shout Factory TV. I know Code Red released it on blu already (and I own it) but does anyone think SF may put out their own copy?

Maybe Bill reconsidered ending the SF deal.

If rereleases were being considered, I'd buy up Spontaneous Combustion in a second.

I'm not sure if something like that could be worked out right now or not as Bill is selling through Screen Archives right now. I would much rather see Bill have some sort of deal with Scream though, I'm not a big fan of Screen Archives.

Streaming rights just like the Godzilla movies...I think they are looking at streaming rights to several titles

Code Red has repressed another 1,000 copies on Neon Maniacs and they will be up for sale at the Screen Archives store any day now.

That's great news for those who don't own this, it's definitely a fun little horror film! I highly recommend picking this up.

It is a fun movie. I got it and Savage Streets at the same time quite a while back. I remember feeling so lucky at the time because I was browsing ebay looking at both considering dropping the loot for them. Thank God Code Red came through with more copies at the time.

Same here, both films are great, I was lucky enough to get both direct from Bill...being in Canada it would have cost me an arm and a leg to get them off ebay lol.

Got in Toolbox Murders 2 today from Amazon. I was surprised it came with a slip since I thought only SF CE came with one.

As far as catalog films are concerned this holds true. However many if not most of the IFC Midnight releases, and anything else contemporary also usually include a slip cover. The Babadook being another obvious example as it had your choice of 2 slip covers.

I chose to stick with my Arrow release, it's not a film I enjoy enough to justify buying the domestic release as well.

The "Scream/Shout!" release has more bonus material, that's what I based my decision on.

"Scream" screwed up though. I don't know if this was done on purpose or not, but they didn't include the blue banner that is always on the top of the artwork of every "Collector's Edition." So much for uniformity.

Eliminating the banner was a decision they chose to make and not a screw up per se.
