That's great about Unholy Rollers, especially as Cliff had nixed it earlier on A/V Maniacs. A fun drive-in flick, and edited by Scorsese!

Unholy Rollers
6 Jackie Chan movies

No horror titles, but a lot of welcome titles nonetheless.
Rats, I was hoping for Escape From New York! Although based on that list, there still might be hope in 2014!

It's interesting that Cliff is trying to make a second deal with Universal for more titles. I've been on DVDAf and, if correct, then I'd say there are about 30 possibilities from 1971-1995. Firstly there are a few things never released on DVD in the US:

The Boy Who Cried Werewolf
Burned at the Stake (The Coming)
I Saw What You Did
High Desert Kill
Buried Alive (Darabont)
The China Lake Murders
I'm Dangerous Tonight
Strays

Now in all honestly I can only realistically see Scream releasing the first two titles in this list - indeed I'd like to see at least one unreleased title among the titles, ala Death Valley before. Buried Alive is a possibility given its by Frank Darabont and a great film. I'm Dangerous Tonight is done by Tobe Hooper so might also interest them.

Then there's what you'd consider minor titles that have already had DVD releases (at least relatively minor):

Sssssss
Killdozer
The Legacy
Dracula (Langella)
Ghost Story
Cat People
Nightmares
Firestarter
Psycho 3 and 4
Bay Cove
Child's Play 2 and 3
Village of the Damned

I could see Scream being interested in Nightmares definitely (AB DVD long OOP), and probably others in the list, but not as priorities.

Now to what I imagine are of primary interest to Scream. I've left out a few titles I consider too improbable for whatever reason (the Jaws sequels, American Werewolf, The Thing, Tremors, Cape Fear remake):

The Car
The Sentinel
Psycho 2
Prince of Darkness
The Serpent and the Rainbow
The 'Burbs
Shocker
The People Under the Stairs
Army of Darkness
Demon Knight

Some of these however I'm not certain about...I'm not sure if 'Serpent' is with Image, and I think Army of Darkness would be some coup if Scream could get it. But I think the Craven titles and Psycho 2 are dead certs for the line if Scream have their way. I know Prince of Darkness has been long mooted but Universal might give in if the initial titles prove successful.

Apologies if I've left anything obvious out.

Thanks for the list BarnDoor, but I'm curious why you would consider Dracula and Cat People to be 'minor' films - both have pretty high name recognition, and Dracula has an all-star cast, a 6.2 IMDB rating, and made $20 million at the box office. A few more potential Universal titles: Slayground (AB DVD is OOP), The Guardian (ditto), and The Watchers (Artisan DVD is OOP).

I certainly meant no disrespect to these films - I really liked this version of Dracula. Perhaps I was thinking more in terms of Scream Factory's mandate to date. For example, the Craven films seem to me far more likely to pop up in the line than Dracula. I just think if Scream had to narrow down a list of, say, 8 titles, it would probably be most of the titles in my bottom list they'd go after. I might be wrong though. Ultimately, the more the merrier.

Right, I guess we should consider 'minor' titles to be 'major' possibilities, and vice versa! Now all we need are a few Synapse and Kino/Redemption announcements and Second Sight release dates, and the 2013 genre slate will really begin to take shape.

Im going to listen to the interview ASAP ...so far I see lots of titles that Im sure are coming from the Shout line
So there are 2 boxed sets coming out ? Im certain one has to be a Vincent Price set...the other one could just be assorted horror titles from a studio (??)

Great interview, Mike - thanks for uploading it to Blu-ray.com in addition to AV Maniacs. I believe more people will learn about these other titles on here (and will/have responded more enthusiastically so) as AV Maniacs seems to be a dying forum. Anyway, I was enthralled by the interview. I was listening to it through a set of headphones so that I could make the conversation out a little better - I probably had my mouth open and my eyes lit up a couple of times so, yes, it was a very interesting chat and it was cool to finally see Cliff "in the flesh" as all we know about him is through his posts. It's awesome that he confirmed having ROLLING THUNDER as well as confirming there are more Cannon titles forthcoming. As everyone knows, Cannon has a s---load of great exploitation titles. I'm especially hopeful that RUNAWAY TRAIN is one of them.

I wonder if Shout has any more former Anchor Bay titles, perhaps HELL NIGHT.

Hopefully we'll get Transmutations, Cellar Dweller and Ghost Town at least in the Scream Factory line, and Enemy Territory elsewhere.

The Cannon list just screams (no pun intended) for a dedicated action line. Hopefully Street Hunter gets a release.

I agree, but I think the other titles I highlighted as 'major' would be higher priorities for Shout as they are better fits for the Scream Factory line. I'm sure Psycho 3 and 4 would follow as a double bill if they got 2 for example.

Or maybe that'll be the box set? Or did someone post that Cliff mentioned two box sets in the interview?

The way Cliff spoke about there being more than one box set almost seemed like the two would be linked. Vincent Price or Poe films does seem an obvious candidate but the way Cliff mentioned these Price titles forthcoming indicated that the sets would be something different.

Surely a Curse boxset is a decent possibility. I know 3 and 4 aren't strictly sequels but it would be a good way to get them out.

Seems like I'll have to hold on to my dvds for "Pumpkinhead",Squirm" and "Invaders From Mars" for a while.
Oh well!
I only want "The Unholy Rollers" from that list. Hoping for a blu-ray release!
Big fan of Claudia Jennings!
