That really sucks, RandyK. I'm sorry for your loss.

I saw the news on TV that Wes Craven died. I didn't know that he had cancer. When is this horrible disease ever going to be wiped out?

My favorite Wes Craven movie was probably A Nightmare On Elm Street, but I have a soft spot for Shocker. I'm glad more people seem to like it these days.

If you read Screams FB page, some fans have the gall to ask about who's doing a commentary for The Serpent and the Rainbow now. Talk about classless

I wouldn't say classless. As he could have done a commentary months ago, before his failing health. It's reasonable to wonder that. Even though no extras on it have been said or leaked.

Its classless to make a post like that after a man just passed away..the principle of worrying about an extra on disc over a mans health and death. Very classless. Is that all entitlement types can think of. He's dead and fans are worried about a commentary..

Gonna have a Craven marathon this week. RIP Wes Craven, you were/ARE a horror legend! Thank you for giving us the iconic Freddy Kreuger, one of the most recognizable characters in all of horror!

That's called bandwagoning.

Yeah. Sometimes you don't realize how much somebody's films mean to you until they've passed. I felt this way about Robin Williams. I didn't really like him in anything I'd seen him in, but it felt weird knowing that he was just gone. I watched some of his more obscure stuff and started to really appreciate his work.

Nanu Nanu!
I discovered Robin Williams through the Mork and Mindy TV show when I was quite young. I even had a Mork action figure that came with the big egg that he traveled in. Pam Dawber was one of my early childhood crushes.

Back on the tracks with the thread...

My Blu-rays of The Legacy and The Sentinel arrived today. Woo hoo!

Yeah Mork & Mindy was my first introduction to Robin Williams as well albeit in re-run form on Nickelodeon I believe.

I still need to order both The Sentinel and Legacy. I'm quite behind on my Scream Factory releases.

I hadn't picked up Scream's People Under the Stairs yet, so went to Amazon and it's listed as the #1 seller in the Musicals category. wtf? Not a great Craven film, but even sub-par Craven is usually a lot better than most other horror films from the time.
