Both films will be coming with audio commentaries (I believe "TerrorVision" will have Director Ted Nicolaou and stars Diane Franklin and Jon Gries while "The Video Dead" will have 2 commentaries with it). There will also be behind the scenes featurettes as well as a look at the FX on "The Video Dead" I believe, along with trailers for both flicks. Hopefully, this puts those people that were hesitant about double features being added to the collection at ease
is there any word on features for the nest.i love this movie and this is probably the only chance for this film to get extras.

Unfortunately, there was no news mentioned. The only time that "The Nest" was brought up in my discussion with Cliff was at the very end when we mentioned the release date was just changed to February 19th (same day as "TerrorVision" / "The Video Dead" and "Prison"... a nice Scream Factory marathon may have to be in order on that day).

My sentiments exactly. I used to watch that flick all the time as a kid. I have zero doubt that the cheese factor in it will be higher than ever

Is that all that was revealed?
It was also mentioned that "Day of the Dead" will be packed with features! Michael Felscher of Red Shirt Pictures told the audience that he will be going to town with that release as it is a personal favorite of his so be prepared for some awesomeness when that one drops.

What Albert Pyun did with his "blu ray" was probably the meanest thing not done by someone working at Auschwitz.

Ok, that's just wrong... Nothing related to home video releases should ever be associated to an atrocity.

Someone asked what the special features were on the FB page a while back, here's the answer:
"We are a little light on THE NEST as it was hard to track down participants. That being said, we have a commentary with Director Terence H Winkless."

I remember reading all about Pyun's release of the film but I thought that it never came to fruition. Nonetheless, Shout will definitely put right what he did wrong... And that has nothing to do with the quality of the film itself

Very nice to hear! Something is certainly better than nothing so this is a welcome announcement.

Day is also a personal favorite of mine as well, and will plunk down pre-order cash as soon as it goes up.

I really hope they get some stuff with Terry Alexander, I was the biggest fan of his for a while. I know he makes convention tours so he should be available.

Does anyone use any horror forums anymore? I was apart of the old Fangoria forum before they made their transition to their newer site, and then apart of their Fearwerx forum. I've been dying to find a smaller, more intimate horror forum.

it was the VHS tape with two scenes from a 35mm print put in.
The sad part is those scenes were improperly scanned making them hard interlaced jagged ugliness.

TGG and Shout split some of the MGM library, so its safe to say Scream Factory won't be getting the titles that they have already put out...

TGG releases:
- The Raven
- From a Whisper to a Scream
- Theater of Blood
- Tales of Terror
- Pit and the Pendulum
- Masque of the Red Death
- Scream and Scream Again
- Dr. Phibes

Possibilities on BD, as Cliff said they'd be in HD for the 1st time:
- Phibes 2
- Twice told Tales
- Fall of the House of Usher
- The Oblong Box
- Ligea

Did Cliff happen to mention how or from whom they got the rights for Day of the Dead? Is this a one-off deal, or did Shout! happen to get other titles from this particular rights holder? Does said rights-holder also hold the rights to a certain 1978/79 horror masterpiece?

I was really hoping that Shout grabbed "Thunder Road" for a BD release... But I didn't expect them to. It wouldve been nice though, I felt it was a 50's movei and that was a bot out of their timeline.

I love the movie, and there's a rollercoaster at Carowinds called "Thunder Road", most of their rides are movie related. If you don't know what it is, Carowinds is the biggest amuesment park in the south. Its in Charlotte NC and has one of the top ten tallest coasters in the world. WAY OFF TOPIC but it had to do with "Thunder Road" lol!

Here's hoping they do and Scream! Factory got it.
