Fright Night 2 (1988) - Lionsgate Not Happening
Dead Alive - With Director Peter Jackson (possible but unlikely)
Chopping Mall - Lionsgate (Restoration work has already been completed)
Mother's Day (1980) - This already has a release... soooo maybe?
Cheerleader Camp (1988) - Possible I think
Strangeland - Lionsgate, nope
Serial Mom - Possible
April Fools Day (1986) - Warner - Not Happening (HD Master Exists)
Childs Play 2 and 3 - Universal (likely coming in 2016)
Problem Child and Problem Child 2 - Not really Scream Factory... Unlikely
Tourist Trap - Full Moon - Unlikely for a variety of reasons
I'm Dangerous Tonight (1990) - No idea on this one.
Return of the Living Dead 2 and 3 Warner & Lionsgate Nope and Nope.
Cool World - Paramount, in theory could be possible in 2016 and beyond (currently with Warner).

Theses ones would be awesome..

Fright Night 2 (1988)
Dead Alive
Chopping Mall
Mother's Day (1980)
Cheerleader Camp (1988)
Strangeland

Tourist Trap
I'm Dangerous Tonight (1990)
Return of the Living Dead 2 and 3
Cool World
Why? When they can just keep rereleasing $8 titles for at least twice that because it now has a slip case. Surely this ethos has a cheaper outlay and many seem to champion seeing titles already on BD for new artwork.

Who has the rights to Turistas?

It's really important for this film to be upgraded to Blu-ray here on these shores.

Has anyone else been anticipating a release of more smaller horror comedies? I'm expecting Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey or Club Dread any day now...

I do hope that Maximum Overdrive gets untied from Lionsgate or, at least, released by Lionsgate.
I've been reading his entire body of work for years and can't get enough.

Speaking of which, I wish the Stand would find its way to my blu collection. I still have the dual vhs set. Am I correct in hearing rumblings of a new The Stand movie/series? Or is it one of those passion projects that gets started and crashes every few years?

Indeed. The only thing for me is I saw it on one of the movie channels, encore or something and it said Studio Canal which looks like the other regions Blu-Ray's. So if it is released I think they need to go over the film and rescan it or use an unprocessed transfer because I couldn't stand the picture quality.

Any chance of Scream releasing Lake Mungo or Cold Prey? It's a real bummer that those aren't available in Region 1.

No. US rights are with Lionsgate and Anchor Bay, respectively.

Cold Prey (Fritt Vilt) is a great slasher Being a swede I prefer swedish subs for norweigan movies though and region isn't a problem. We have Cold Prey 1-3 on blu-ray here, no english subs on those sadly.

I've been pushing for this one for a while now. Really hope someone gets out there and releases it.

Scream Factory needs to look at other studios for content - there are some very good recent films that could use a BD upgrade and Turistas is one of them. The Brits released a Blu-ray but gave it a goofy retitling.
