Is this a shopping list or just a random list of titles you posted for no particular reason?

Does anyone know when Image loses the rights to the New World Pictures library? There is so much gold in that library that Image just refuses to do anything with. They are probably neck and neck with Lionsgate in companies that should be sued for malpractice.

Imagine Scream Factory getting rights to the New World Pictures library.

You know what's crazy about this, is Lakeshore the owners of the New World Library let others over seas release there stuff on blu, Arrow UK have released many of the ones you listed above and someone is releasing Creepshow 2 soon. Not sure when the Image rights are up, but when they are I'm sure someone better will pick them up. I'm just glad i'm region free and have those awesome Arrow releases.

New World/Lakeshore only deals with one man. That man used to work at Anchor Bat. Now, he's at Image. No hope, sadly. Unless that man gets a job at SF.

Also, Punisher '89 is Lionsgate.

If the New World rights are expiring sometime in the near future, Scream Factory needs to make it known that they actually want to do something with the catalog. I would think New World would rather make money off of their old films instead of having them rot away at Image. Their allegiance to this former Anchor Bay guy shouldn't trump making money.

Scream Factory, any chance for The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007)? To date, this film has never received a theatrical, DVD or Blu-ray release. MGM buried it. Since they have no interest, would this be a title you would consider?

Clownhouse (1988) is another title I'd like to see on BD.

The (probably best to keep it vague and say) issues and lawsuits surrounding the film's production will probably keep Clownhouse off of home media for an indefinite amount of time. Nobody wants to deal with the controversy of it.

I certainly understand why no studio wants to have any association with Clownhouse, but it is disappointing for those of us who have a fondness for the film. While definitely not a masterpiece, it is a fun thriller with some genuine scares. I was lucky enough to obtain an official MGM DVD in 2004. MGM tried to release the film on DVD twice, first on August 26, 2003, then again on August 24, 2004. Both releases were canceled, but in 2004 the copies were silently leaked out. I'm just kind of surprised there is still no active release of the film on home video almost 30 years after the events in question took place. (1987, during filming.) I can't foresee any extras such as commentary tracks, documentaries, or interviews ever being produced for the film, but a 1080p 1.85:1 BD would sure be nice.
