If the rumors are true about the Paramount/Warner deal expiring and Universal now taking over the distribution of Paramount's library, could this make Paramount's titles available to Scream Factory? They do have a good working relationship with Universal.

I hope that gives Warner incentive to bring the better films to bluray before the end if the year before they roll over to Universal in 2017.

Right now Warner seems to be only doing MOD titles for them, as I guess the DVDs from Paramount are out of print - I mean the catalog titles, not Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows or something like that .

While this may in fact be true, you rarely provide enough evidence to support the knowledge you claim to have. From my perspective (and I'm sure many others) the rumors of the Universal/Paramount deal have as much credibility as the Rumors you have commented on in the past. This isn't meant to be insulting in any way, and I'm not saying that you are lying in any ways shape or form... I'm merely pointing out that while you have claimed to know the inner workings of various releases/companies on many occasions, you ,to the best of my knowledge, have never actually provided any factual evidence to back up your claims. I understand the not wanting to burn bridges argument, and I still take what you say to be more or less truthful, but I also can't/won't discount what others have stated simple because you claim otherwise as at this point no one has provided any evidence one way or another.

Countless Warner Archive DVD-R reissues of Paramount titles have been discontinued in the last couple of months and are becoming quite scarce, so Warner's deal with Paramount is either ending already, or Warner is just deciding to put everything OOP on their own way early.

I only deal with facts. I cannot reveal who I talk to. You cant have evidence or I get into trouble and it isnt worth it. These arent posts that Im reading to share. Sorry, but you arent entitled to my sources Ive known them long before these forums were even created. If that's not good enough for you, that's just too bad. I have better things to do than to create internet rumors. There are so many things I couldve posted and could post but I cannot because I wont burn my bridges. I can only post what is safe to post.
Im both privileged and blessed, and also, very, very thankful.
I could even tell you WHY the deal is up at the end of this year, but I was told not to. So yeah, I do know, but unfortunately I cant divulge, especially when the studios do read the posts.
I apologize if my response isnt acceptable enough for you, but that's the way it is

From what I was explained, The first / earliest batch of titles ran their course of the deal. They have about 900 titles.
I can see they still have Silver Bullet , Tales from the Darkside
Amazon still has Let's Scare Jessica to Death
By the end of the year, all the titles will be back with Paramount.

I'm not denying that you may have insider information you can't share. But when you speak in generalities without ever providing any solid evidence to support or refute your claims you're both right and wrong 100% of the time.

There is no way I can provide you with solid evidence. No disrespect to you my wrestling fan member, but you arent an insider, you dont personally know any insiders and therefore I cannot divulge to you. You can believe what you want. I share what I can, but there's no way in hell Im going to stick my neck out to provide evidence that will get me into trouble. I can copy and paste a quote or a private message but I cant provide to you who it came from.
Again, I provide facts as are told to me. And again, I feel very fortunate to know what I do know. My karma will not let me go viral with anything, it just isnt right and I would get into trouble.
An example - if I said "I know a title shout factory, (or any label) has" I would immediately get an email from the label about doing stuff like that.
And I respect the labels too much to make posts that will piss them off. And no Im not trying to make this sound disrespectful to you. I have no beef with you. I really wish I could say more, but I dont want to lose my privileges
I know youd like to know "things" too.. heck we all do lol

Someone mentioned Eye See You which is an excellent choice. I hope for less crap like Human Centipede and Gravy this year.

The internet. Now Universal did license some Paramount titles like Murders In the Zoo and older titles from the 30s. There are some classic Universal horrors that before the movie plays you will it shows the Paramount logo.

If you can't actually divulge any info, then why post anything at all? It seems silly to come into every thread and say "I know something you don't know!" and then leave it at that. You're like a child waving his candy in front of another, with no intention of sharing. If that's how it is, then just keep your candy to yourself.

I work in one of the biggest post production facilities in the world and know lots of info that I can't share either, so you know what, I don't mention it at all. I don't go into multiple movie threads and tease that I know all this info that I'm not allowed to divulge.

Unless you have anything to actually share, no one cares if you're an insider or what connections you have. Whatever info you know should be kept to yourself, not be used to brag. Be professional about it.

You misinterpret then, because Im not bragging. Im just sharing with my fellow collectors what I can. Just like others would do. And I was commenting back on the previous post which somewhat attacked my character , but you failed to read or even mention - imagine that !
I seriously doubt no one cares and quite frankly you sound very envious.
Like I said, Im very thankful. Others that are true insiders can only share trivial things as well. You dont see CMAC making posts about future upcoming titles do you ? No, but you will see something cryptic , a possible tease, but never to reveal what cannot be revealed.
Again, sorry if you cant deal with cryptic posts or information, but being a keyboard warrior and venting and attacking me over nothing really that important is a waste of your time thanks
Its because of posts like yours that prevent real insiders and others from appearing more frequently.
You like to attack and character assassinate over the most frivolous thing, movies.
We are collectors, we are enthusiastic about our movies, and if there is something I can share or talk about, then Im happy to do so. I post in good faith.
So quit being a brat and let's just enjoy whatever we can because one day we wont be able to

And in closing, if you dont like my posts, simply use the ignore user button on your control panel.
