Unless you have anything to actually share, no one cares if you're an insider or what connections you have. Whatever info you know should be kept to yourself, not be used to brag. Be professional about it.

While I don't think anything, or anyone, is disingenuous...I do believe that all "insiders" to whatever degree, be properly vetted by the site and have a title that says as much.
Credibility is safely established that way, epsecially for newer members. Let's face it we live in an online world where thanks to anonymity anyone can be anyone and know anything. Which if left unchecked can lead to misinformation.
Again, not saying that's the case here, just looking at it from all sides.

Actually Rickah the real reason you agree with him is because you dislike me and we dont get along because you go on mad tirades over slipcovers which we both know is true. So basically if another poster did the same thing as me, it would be okay, but since its me, it is not okay.

Actually I read all the posts, and it wasn't an attack, he was saying what we have all been thinking for a while now. That's why his post received several likes. You are apparently an insider that doesn't divulge anything besides "There is an amazing title coming this year, I can't say anything about it, but you will all love it". This is such a vague post that I have seen you post multiple times. If you can't give any details regarding the title, then why bring it up at all? Other then again, to brag.

I'm sure you'd be envious of me as well if you knew about all the upcoming films the way I do. The difference is, I don't go around mentioning info if I'm not allowed to talk about it. There's no point of me going into threads dropping vague clues like "You guys are going to love a huge blockbuster film releasing this summer. It is so amazing!". I could, but what would be the point? As far as anyone knows, I know nothing, and I like to keep it that way, as since I can't divulge anything, what would be the point? That's the difference between you and me.

And I just wanted to add, this may feel like an attack on you dsman71, but I actually enjoy most of your posts. You seem like a good guy that is passionate about films, and loves Scream Factory, which I assume most in this thread are as well.

I just don't think there is a need to mention upcoming releases unless you are actually allowed to say anything about said title. It rubs people the wrong way, and I understand where they are coming from.

Nope. Still missing almost 30 titles. Though if I subtract IFC and Chiller titles, that number drops quite a bit.

This is just what happens where there isn't anything else to discuss. At this point it's more surprising when people are surprised by these types of discussions than anything else.

I also think this is far from the usual arguing/bickering seen in most threads as I think everyone expressed themselves with the utmost respect for the most part. I have no problem with dsman71 and like Spawningblue stated I appreciate most of his posts as well and look forward to his thoughts and opinions across the forum. We're all (for the most part) passionate film fans from various walks of life with various information/opinions to share. Nothing wrong with a little heated debate.

Why them did you spit on this member when all that was done was give something of an insight. These forums are an amazement, since when did someone who makes a contribution, trying to share any kind of news, be it good or horrible get spit on like he committed a crime ? Very odd behavior !
Have you heard the phrase "a good journalist never reveals his sources" ? That must apply here !
Why are people who try to contribute always get crucified ! it is very, very sad. The way I view it as anyone who knows something and is somewhat able to speak about it, should not be spit on. I don't see any other person on the inside take the time to post. Would you rather not know about something coming up, or would rather know and be excited for an anticipation of a release. I read the posts, yes and I see no reason why he should not be here, unless something else was said, and probably was. Nobody gets along anymore ! Very, very shameful !

The thing is that there wasn't a reason for dsman to hide his sources, because he wasn't actually revealing anything. That's the problem with him and his hints/posts. People got fed up with him going around and posting something like, and mind you, this is the quote from the main Arrow thread,.

'I did hear from the same insider that Arrow had another "oldie but it hasnt been announced"'

I mean... What's the point of posting something like this? If you want to do a proper hinting, post something of substance ffs.

Out of Curiosity did you watch The Human Centipede II before picking up the Boxset? I'm curious what you thought of the film after watching it in Color vs it's original B&W presentation. I've had the original release since street date but haven't gotten around to grabbing III or the Boxset. I enjoyed the series, but part 3 was almost too much for me with all the mindless yelling. This isn't a series known for it's quality acting, but part 3 made the original look Oscar worthy.
