That being said, I would buy the ever loving hell out of Freejack if Scream did it. But, it's a WB title, so don't hold your breath. Night Breed was a special case, but I don't see repeat business with WB happening.

What about True Romance? The Two-disc Special Edition DVD was excellent overall except in the picture quality dept.

You are correct, but the Criterion DVD went OOP when Warner acquired it. Now that Warner have seemingly lost it, it remains to be seen if Criterion have re-acquired it. Possibly Shout got there first, though it's possible Cronenberg himself may have had some say in the matter (he obviously has a good relationship with Criterion).

I know it's been shot down, but Damn it if it's not the most Scream Factory Esque title that deserves a solid release (Collectors Edition!) than I don't know what is.

If we're talking movies based off of HBO Films/DVDs, where's my Scream Factory special collector's edition of No Escape with Ray Liotta and Stuart Wilson as one of best villains to come out of the 1990s?

Freejack is a Morgan Creek title, a catalogue which Warner (largely) owned, but apparently no longer do, hence our rabid speculation regarding certain titles. See here:

I imagine this means releases of Nightbreed's theatrical cut (alone), Bad Moon, and Blatty's Legion cut can't be far behind.

One interesting title on that list I could see falling under the Shout banner is "Renegades". Pretty underrated late 80s action film. For the extras, I doubt they could get Kiefer Sutherland to talk, but I'm sure they could get Lou Diamond Phillips to sit down as LDP seems like he enjoys talking about his lesser-known movies.

The Crush is terrific news!! One of my favorites from the 90's, Hopefully SF can correct the audio problem found on the DVD. They are really rolling out some awesome titles for 2016!

I'm really hoping for BAD MOON.... love werewolf movies and so many of them are ruined by atrocious effects. This movie truly delivered the goods and deserves to find a new audience!

this is one of the most depressing films ever.... but it's so good on multiple levels.. whether it's Scream or Criterion... bring it on please!

I realize that hahaha, I guess I should have asked what some of their bigger titles are that SF might go after. I can't for the life of me remember which studios brought out which movies most of the time. Especially for older ones.

The Morgan Creek back catalog was being shopped around, currently Morgan Creek was set up with a distribution deal through Universal for their latest titles. Not sure if this is through Universal or Morgan Creek directly.

Shout! worked with Morgan Creek directly to get Night Breed out, and that was a successful venture.

So we might see these coming from Shout! or Scream!

Including the Exorcist III restored edition.

CMAC, please no double features!!
