I'd prefer a Young Guns 1/2 double feature, since the Lionsgate release of the original was crap.

![]() In all honesty, I don't hate double features, there are people out there that would like their collection to be compact or just like to get a "more for your buck" deal. Me, personally, I would rather have a single film version disc, because in my mind I feel each film was made singly on its own by a group of artist. And I feel it diminishes their hard work. I see the "only available as a double feature" a down grade from a DVD. I understand the economic aspect of releasing films as doubles, but I much rather a company put them out as both, a single release and as a double to accommodate the consumers. ![]() Last edited by willo007; 02-26-2016 at 10:03 PM. |

Get Emilio to be part of the special features, he can take time off from running his winery! But I do think part 1 its still @ Lionsgate (I think it was a "One off" deal with Fox (Theatrical) & Vestron (Home Video)) ![]() |

True. They made a lot of those kind of films in the early to mid 90s. A psychopath comes into a family's life and makes it a living hell. "Unlawful Entry", "Malice", etc. Or "Hider in the House" with Gary Busey. "Pacific Heights" is okay, but Keaton's not in it enough. He maybe has 20 total minutes of screentime. Fairly entertaining movie though.

And, highly likely that the majority of them are now with Shout/Scream.

Also, the remastered True Romance and the Collector's Editions of Ace Ventura flicks could be a possibility for Shout Factory as well. The Exorcist III and Enemies: A Love Story double feature would be awesome! ![]() [Show spoiler]

On the audio thing with The Crush: if this involves the renaming of Darian to Adrian, there's nothing Shout/Scream can do about it. Due to legal issues (the film's writer/director named the main character after an ex, which led her to sue for defamation and get a settlement from the director and Morgan Creek), the theatrical/VHS/laserdisc audio track can never be released on any other format so the main character will more than likely remain named Adrian.
As for Renegades, I believe Universal owns that one outright so a release wouldn't be much of a problem. And a personal suggestion from the Morgan Creek library would be The Whole Nine Yards. I'm really surprised this one isn't on Blu-ray. Last edited by Buscemi; 02-26-2016 at 11:39 PM. |

Another good "psychopath" movie from that era was "Single White Female" with Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh. I figured all of these "psycho" movies of that time were studios wanting to emulate "Fatal Attraction". |

Scream working with Morgan Creek again is great news. Bad Moon is one of my most wanted. It has to be the most underrated werewolf movie of all time. The wolf itself was scary and done very well for it's time. However, I will admit the transformation scene was absolutely horrible. Especially when you compare it to The Howling and An American Werewolf in London which came out 15 years earlier.

I tend to agree... It wouldn't bother me so much if there weren't so many other more popular franchises/titles still without releases. But new announcements are new announcements, so at least we have something to talk about for the next day or two...
