Go figure Psycho IV will happen now that I just got the version from Australia yesterday! Depending if it has any special features I may pick it up when lowers in price.

Well they've almost taken to announcing them on a monthly basis now, given that they're keeping up with the pre-order schedule (usually 3 months ahead). We only know of one unannounced title, Return of the Living Dead (CE), which is coming in July. We can probably expect another 3-4 other 'retro' titles on top of this, so I would expect to see some announcements towards the end of this month/very early next. Nowadays they tend to go up on Shout's 'Upcoming Releases' page first, where eagle-eyed folk (usually Akijama) find them before they're properly announced on Scream's Facebook page (usually in the hours after).

Of course, this can change if we get some announcements for 'special occasions' - Scream Factory's anniversary (I can't remember when this is), Friday the 13th's (there's one in May, the sole one this year), October/Halloween, SDCC, podcasts (it's been a while since they've done this), etc. But certainly, the backlog/pool isn't there right now, and that sort of makes it more exciting, as we have very little idea of what's coming.

Given Cliff's unexpected disclosure, might we expect Psycho IV to be among July's releases? It seems possible. And they might announce that one sooner rather than later.

i think im the only one who would buy the psycho remake on bd, luckily the dvd still holds up.

I probably would. It's not horrible by any means and Julianne Moore is one of my favorite actresses.

Shouts title menus are just buggy. I wouldn't worry about bootleg copies just because of that (atleast with shout releases).

I hope if PSYCHO IV does happen, that they are able to include the BATES MOTEL tv movie as a bonus. I'd like to be able to retire the DVD set.

I'd never pay money for a copy of Bates Motel. I'd be happy if it was a bonus feature, but to me, it doesn't warrant a buy.

I'll just be happy to have the 4 Anthony Perkins movies together. That's what I consider to be the core franchise.

The only thing that could make it more complete to me is if Scream were able to release all 4 movies as a boxed set like they did with Amityville, but I'm guessing Universal won't license the original. So, it is what it is.

If they can't get Bates Motel as a bonus, I'd take the Psycho Legacy on the disc with Psycho IV. I don't have that, and I don't want to buy DVD's at this point.
