I would give a kidney for the UNCUT version of Psycho to be released.

I read that Psycho IV was shot down before, if it does get released by SF, is there a possibility of Jaws sequels and Child's Play 2 and 3 getting released by SF?

Hard to say, since Psycho IV being previously shot down was apparently a case of Cliff not being interested in releasing it. This stance however seems to have changed, presumably a consequence of demand and the list of titles available to Scream being gradually whittled down.

With the Jaws films however, it's a case of Universal not wanting to licence them out. Things could change but it seems unlikely.

Maybe I'm wrong but I vaguely remember hearing the reason the Child's Play sequels were turned down in the first place was because Scream Factory didn't want them to compete with the sales of Universal's Complete Collection boxset. I've been waiting for a collector's edition of Child's Play 2 and I hope we'll get one someday.

It's great for those that want it to finally be getting it as for me I'd still like the remake with Vince Vaughn to come out as well. That one would be a day 1 buy for me.

Would Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed (2004) be a possibility for Scream Factory? I think it is a worthy follow up to the original and Emily Perkins really did a fantastic job.

*Ginger Snaps III: The Beginning (2004) on the other hand, is quite dull and not very exciting. The fact that it's a prequel that takes place 100+ years earlier did not peak my interest.

Zero chance of either of them ever being released by Scream because....*drum roll*

Lionsgate holds them under lock and key.

Lionsgate either needs to sublicense or start their own horror line. If anyone can put out some interesting double features, it's them.

Too bad GS II can't at least get a BD release in Canada. Seville released the DVDs of II and III in 2004. Do they still hold the Canadian rights?

The first Ginger Snaps didn't even get a release in Canada, so I doubt we will ever see the other 2 on blu-ray here in Canada. I had to import the first movie from the States.

Yeah, it's pretty dumb. I think that II would especially be profitable now that its costar Tatiana Maslany is a big deal.

Do you think we will get Child's Play 1 and 2 from Scream Factory? You know, actual horror movies that people care about.

That's entirely subjective. And to say that people don't care about titles like Return of the Living Dead, Manhunter, or Psycho IV is just flat-out wrong.

There are people who care about all the horror titles Scream Factory puts out, if there weren't they wouldn't bother doing them. So just cause you don't care about them doesn't mean others don't.

They've already been released on Blu-ray. I don't care much for Psycho IV, but at least there's not already a release of it out there.
