I'd love to see Cry Wolf, When a Stranger Calls Back, Campfire Tales, and Urban Legends 1+2 as well.

I also hope Scream announces Bubba Ho-tep! I'm really surprised that film has been ignored on Blu thus far, unless the rights for it went back to Coscarelli?

Yes on April Fools Day I recently watched this on Netflix I think and it looked pretty good.

Scream hasn't been able to make a deal with Sony, something to do with them not allowing extras to be created, and taking ownership of them if done. So anything owned by Sony is unfortunately not an option for Scream at the moment.

Hopefully that changes soon though, and they announce Candyman at Comic Con!

Imagine when Twilight Times' license expires for The Blob , Vampires and Fright Night and they dont renew which the word around town is that they wont... It will be interesting to se Sony decides to license them out to another label (allowing them to create extras as well) or release the movies themselves

It meant Sony owns it and Mill Creek has bluray rights.. I did the lazy version reply to you, sorry about that Spawning is correct about the Shout/Sony story

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling we'll see another CE of an existing MGM release in August. They've released/scheduled one in April (TCM2), May (Manhunter), June (Jeepers Creepers 1+2), and July (Return of the Living Dead). We now know Child's Play is (apparently) coming at some point, but I can think of a few others which Scream might have gone after:

Carrie (though they might have competion from Criterion on this one)
Misery
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Species
Poltergeist 2
Poltergeist 3
Teen Wolf
Silence of the Lambs (again, could Criterion be interested?)
Hannibal

I'd rather not get into the same old debate about Scream re-releasing older titles, I'm just stating realistic possibilities based on their current business model. With a new transfer and extras, Carrie would surely be a big-seller. Misery would also be an attractive proposition given that the current release had all the extras - including the commentaries - on the accompanying DVD only. I'm very happy with Arrow's Invasion but again, a new transfer would be tempting. Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal seem a tall order, given that they'd probably struggle to get new interviews with the main talents involved.

Of course, in terms of CE double-dips it's also possible we might see an existing Universal or even Fox title announced.

I would double dip for special editions of Poltergeist II and III esp with original reversible poster artwork for each release. unlike the first film I am sure they could do plenty of bonus features for the sequels with interviews etc.

Someone needs to license RAW MEAT. Frankly I'm shocked no one's grabbed it yet (that we know of).

For Universal I hope they release Child's Play 2 and 3 CE. For Fox titles, I would like to see CE of Omen IV and maybe even CE for Omen 2 and 3 for Omen's 40th anniversary and to tie in with the upcoming Omen Prequel film in the works (The First Omen).

I did consider that, but, despite it being a Craven title, I think Scream would be hesitant to go after it for various reasons:

1) Could they improve that much on the transfer?
2) Can they top the existing extras, especially given various talents are no longer with us?
3) Is it not a little on the nasty side for the label? I recall, for example, that the powers-that-be at Shout didn't want them releasing Ms.45 or Massacre at Central High. LHotL does have a certain notoriety.

Of course, anything's possible, but I don't see this one happening myself.

I believe MGM no longer has the rights to Raw Meat unfortunately (after all, surely someone would have picked it up by now). If so, I've no idea who it is with in the US, though a UK release through Network might be possible.

Another Universal TV movie that I would die for is When a Stranger Calls... Back! It's a brilliant sequel, bringing back Carol Kane from the first film. I'd be all over it, and I'm sure many others would be too (mainly because it's commonly regarded as a superior film to the first one; just a shame it got release to TV).
YES! Charles Durning also returned to his role. I still have the ancient Goodtimes DVD from 1998/1999. I don't think Universal ever released their own DVD. Even though it pales in comparison to the 1979 and 1993 films, I'd also buy the 2006 remake of When a Stranger Calls on BD.

I'd love CEs for Child's Play 2 & 3 and Poltergeist II & III.
I know these films are already available with a nice transfer, but I grew up watching them and think they deserve more than a barebones disc.

I'd be all over When a Stranger Calls Back and After Midnight. Impulse would be nice too.

Carrie desperatly needs a remaster. Hopefully Criterion or Arrow will eventually take care of it.
