Regarding The Fly II, Kino recently stated on Facebook that they asked Fox about it but they didn't get it. Twilight Time also recently stated that they don't have any horror movies from the 70's and 80's in the pipeline. So, if they were telling the truth, maybe Scream have indeed struck another deal with Fox.

There are still some unreleased Fox titles which may interest Scream, but then Kino have said they still have post-1960 Fox horror titles to announce, so it's possible they too may have some of these:

Curse of the Fly (1965)
Devils of Darkness (1965) (NOT with Kino)
The Mephisto Waltz (1971) (NOT with Kino)
Hex (1973) (this one may not be with Fox)
The Norliss Tapes (1973)
The House on Skull Mountain (1974) (NOT with Kino)
Savage Harvest (1981) (shot down by Scream again today; music rights issues)
Warning Sign (1985)
The Vindicator (1986)
The Fly 2 (1989)
Omen IV: The Awakening (1991)
Turistas (2006)

Of course, it's possible Shout could make any deal with Fox more worthwhile by adding previously released titles to be upgraded as Collector Editions, as well as more general titles for the Shout Select line.

On another note, it would also appear that Fox allow double bills, so it might appeal to Scream to bundle a couple of 60s/70s titles together.

The Collector's Editions and a new transfers of Wrong Turn and Cronenberg's The Fly would be great. Hopefully they made another deal with Fox.

I would expect The Fly to be rereleased by Criterion before Scream Factory.

Criterion are Cronenberg's fanboys but they can't get everything. Maybe Fox will play it smart and release a remastered BD/UHD themselves.

Releasing previously released titles as Collector's Editions is the likeliest scenario. DVD-to-BD upgrades will also be standard practice and, to me, is the preferred way to go. I fully expect CE's of The Fly II and Warning Sign to be announced within a year. Fox is redoing the first OMEN themselves so maybe a box set of II-IV from SF is a possibility.

It kills me that Savage Harvest (1981) won't likely be released. It just absolutely kills me.

This movie was such a favorite of mine during my childhood.

(Okay, okay...I wasn't exactly the most popular child at my school, but, hey...great movie.)

If only we had a time machine, so we could go back and tell them not to use Beatles music. Oh well. Maybe a European release is possible, I don't know.

Or Japan. Sony owns the Beatles catalog

I also ordered the Blue Underground Blu-ray of The Nesting (1981) to get the order up to free shipping status.

I haven't read much about these here, so any feedback on these movies would be welcome. The one that I'm the most knowledgeable about is The Beast Within, since it was a mainstay at a local drive-in during my childhood when it came out in theaters, but I've never been able to see it. (I just remember envying everyone at my school who did see it.)

Evilspeak, Schizoid, and The Nesting are mentions in Stephen Thrower's Nightmare USA, so I was compelled to check them out partly for that reason as well.
I'm a big fan of Beast Within, and I was pleasantly surprised by Evilspeak. The rest are alright, though I haven't watched The Nesting since it came out (on BD)

Ok, I was keeping pace with their releases up until about two Falls ago, and then slowly started losing ground as they got more aggressive releasing stuff. Now I'm way behind. Which of these blind buys would people recommend the most:

Ghost Story
Supernova
The Squad
Candyman 2
From a Whisper to a Scream
The Legacy
Ghost Story
Blood and Lace
Zombie High
The Car
Nightmares
The Guardian
Sonny Boy
Jack's Back
Curse/Curse II
Disturbing Behavoir
Cherry Falls
SSSSSS

Nightmares is a must buy. Cherry Falls is great if you enjoy movies like Scream. The Car was a blind buy that I really enjoyed, not quite like Christine but fun.

Did Fox say when The Omen will be released? Will it be this year?

redoing first? dont you mean a completely new movie and prequel. The name of it is called "first omen" but not a remake of the first one.

Blood and Lace is a truly awesome movie. I watched it a few nights ago, and reviewed it in its dedicated thread.

In addition to that one, I'd also recommend The Car, Nightmares, Legacy, and From a Whisper to a Scream.

Sssssss is a fun movie from what I remember after seeing it years ago, but Amazon is currently holding my order of the Blu-ray hostage because I pre-ordered it along with another subsequent release.

Who has the rights to The Legend of Boggy Creek (1972), and how has it not received a proper release yet!?

The 2 Poltergeist sequels are probably penciled in for Collector's Edition treatment, which I would totally love. Both films are still quite enjoyable for what they are and really need some TLC. Right now all I've got is a crappy barebones BD of Part II featuring awful artwork and another barebones edition of the third film from the UK. Since Warner screwed us on the first film maybe Scream Factory can put together a nice comprehensive featurette covering all 3 films.
