Still August before I get The Fog. Went to FYE today and picked up The People Under the Stairs with slip. What do yaw think of The Beast Within? Am thinking of ordering it with some trade in credit.

Fun fact: my place of work (not a store that should sell books) is selling the original novel of The Beast Within used on the cheap. Is it worth a read?

Think I'm going to go ahead and get it. FYE has used copies for 13.99 and have store credit to cover that.

Have heard that the book is good to. If its priced right I would get it.

A gory, sleazy and twisted little film. I loved it and bought both the region A and region B releases. Cool makeup effects and it has an eerie vibe throughout.

It's a fun read, but COMPLETELY different from the film. And quite a bit better.

I want them to release a version of The Burbs similar to the Arrow release over seas. I would love to get a Region A copy of that magnificent looking special edition on blu.

Anyone know if Scream is planning to get the rights to Tales From the Hood? I'd love to have this "gangsta take" on the Tales From the Crypt stories, as it was always a favorite of mine (especially Clarence Williams III's performance in it) but from what I understand it's only been available on a ridiculously overpriced DVD that's gone out of print...

This would be an awesome release from Scream...

It's been asked about many times (most of the time by myself) but thus far haven't heard anything. Comic-Con is just around the corner though and it's had a fair bit of chatter lately, so hopefully it will be announced for a release later this year. At this point though it's just wishful thinking. Most of us have speculated that Music clearance issues could be what's holding up a release, but that's just a guess. It's one of my most wanted titles right now, so hopefully we see it announced.

I had picked this up around a year or so ago at least during one of the sales but never got around to watching it until last night. A big part of why I was so slow to visit it was because I believed it was a

film. I was quite surprised by the film and it made for a very fun viewing experience since

Spoilers for Folks who haven't seen the film. I went into the film completely blind which made for a really fun viewing experience as I had no idea what the hell was happening.

The two newest titles from Scream i got recently was Cherry Falls and Manhunter but i found this one at Best Buy. I'm still waiting for the rest of my amazon order of Demon Knight, Bordello of Blood and People Under the Stairs too hopefull it happends pretty soon though.

This was probably asked before, but any chance Scream might tackle this one? One of my childhood favorites, many scenes disturbed me for years

So this release does NOT use the restored Arrow transfer? No reason to consider picking up a copy, then.

I'd never heard of the film until now, but that trailer sold me on it and now I'm hoping it's released as well. It appears it could be possible assuming the rights are still with MGM.

Hopefully Arrow U.S. will release it soon. At least then we'd know it's the same transfer and the same special features. I really want that isolated score and sound effects track.

Pretty good trailer right?
The film's ending was kind of a let down, but the movie overall is pretty daring and disturbing. Deserves more recognition and love from horror fans.
Hopefully Scream will consider it in a near future.
