I saw this the other day and my immediate thought was "Isn't Raising Cain a Shout title and not technically Scream Factory?"

So shouldn't that be delegated to a Scream title?

Limited-run 1,000 units will be pressed for each title. Pre-order and purchase is only available at our site.

These films were chosen because we had existing high-definition masters and we thought they had enough of a cult appeal to warrant a small release. That being said, we consider this an “experiment” to gauge interest from you. If we find that this kind of offer is successful we may consider executing a similar promotion in the future for other similar obscure genre catalog titles that we have.

I do not like. I can't stand limited runs, and even if the difference from the wide-release DVD isn't too much, I haven't bought any of those titles on DVD yet, and that will be harder to do knowing that Blu-rays "exist" now.

I as excited for the titles esp Velvet Vampire... but I cant start collecting more limited run blu rays. I am going to have to skip these. I have a feeling they will sell out. I think Scream / Shout will end up doing more titles like this.

I already have Deathstalker 1 and 2 on DVD not sure if I want to up them to Blu...if it was Barbarian Queen 1 & 2 heck yes I would. Or Firecracker I would as well.

Are any of the others any good...haven't seen them?

Or maybe I can. $64.75.. yowza sticker shock so that's almost $32.50 a disc. That's literally almost $8-12 more than I pay per Code Red release that's not at SAE.

Great, now I'm all nervous and shit. Limited runs drives me crazy! I'm so close to having a complete Scream collection, but it's over time with smart buying. I just can't see myself spending nearly $150 for these titles with everything else coming out during that time. I get the WHY from their perspective, but I still don't like it.

Ok looked these up...actually looks like the Deathstalker films are the best of the bunch...I think I'll stick with the DVD's. Have at it collectors!

Now Shout if you want to release Barbarian Queen, Firecracker on Blu...I'm all in.

The Deathstalker movies, Up from the Depths, Time Walker, and The Velvet Vampire look bad-but-ohhhh-so-good.

I'm going to hold off for now, though. These would be pretty expensive blind buys for such films.

Was hoping for a Deathstalker 4-film set some day, but I'm quite happy with the first two films!
Please, more 80s Sword & Sorcery genre on BD!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Sword Factory has a nice ring to it!
