Damn guys, am I the ONLY one who wants titles that HAVEN'T had a release yet? Seems like everyone's wish/want list is just re-releases of certain titles or just CE editions of existing titles!

Guys there are still a ton of good flicks that haven't seen the light of day yet.

Of course not - some of us are just very realistic about the catalogues available to Scream and their current policy of double-dipping on titles. We can either be logical about this or come up with fantasy wishlists, in which case we'll almost certainly be left disappointed.

These are predictions, not wish lists. I provided both several pages back, but as others have pointed out, the well is extremely dry as far as we know, so expectations are very low as it pertains to new title announcements. Dead Ringers, Tales from the Hood, Slither and maybe one or two other titles are all we can realistically hope for/predict at this point unless a new deal is announced with Sony/Warner/Paramount/Lionsgate etc.

Let's not confuse predictions list with wishlist. Hannibal and Species are among my predictions, doesn't mean I would purchase them.

Now that the well is getting dry I guess we can expect 4K releases of past CEs as well as Jaws sequels CE on blu-ray and 4K at some point in the future.

Scream Factory doesn't have licenses to release anything in 4k. The studios are still holding onto those according to comments made by Scream Factory I believe last month. It's also important to note that the current well is about dry, however there is still plenty of material that Scream Factory could pursue. Foreign Horror (Italian market or Japanese Horror for example), independent Horror to a larger degree, titles/franchise's owned by individuals, hell even the Corman catalog or other expiring deals (like Morgan Creek) that we aren't aware of are ripe for the picking. We've been saying that the well has been running dry for a while now, yet they always find fresh material. If these re-releases sell well it will hopefully provide enough resources to perhaps go after a different catalog and thus start the process over again.

I feel like we've still got many many years worth of Scream Factory releases to look forward to... they just may not be exactly what we've grown accustom to. Personally at this time my most anticipated title that I'm aware of from Scream Factory is Baskin', and that's both foreign (Turkish) and Independent.

To add on, there are some titles that were given horrible or mediocre initial releases. Some posters (like myself with American Werewolf in London, which is not being re-released by Scream but the point still stands) want the best edition possible for their favorite horror film. I can see the complaint, but there are some positives within the situation.

People are just being realistic. The well is running dry and the rereleases are selling much better than the more obscure titles.

What if that old Fred Savage/Howie Mandel/Daniel Stern movie "Little Monsters" was this year's Garbage Pail Kids equivalent?

On second thought, Little Monsters would be a massive improvement over Garbage Pail Kids and does need an HD release.

I was so hoping for Little Monsters to join the Scream Factory line at some point as it is personal favorite. Unfortunately, Lionsgate now has the rights to it.

With how scream factory seems to like including alternate cuts, I think they would at least attempt to include both. I would love for it to be one of the announcements, as it is one of my favorite horror movies, but I'm not going to get my hopes up there.
