I thought the first paranormal was really good when it came out. The tacked on ending and sequels are what was bad.

Did Lionsgate just make a big time return to Horror? If these are all successful (and I believe they will be) we could be on the verge of a massive catalog explosion.

They're doing their own "Time Bandits" release ... seriously? Was Criterion not the final word on that one?

EDIT: Nevermind, he says it's on their "wish list", but apparently they got "Transformers: The Movie."

They said it was on their wishlist, as is Alligator. Doesn't mean they're doing it.

I think they want to do one, but they are not doing one at this time.

It would be pointless for them to ever do it anyways (even if they could get the rights), as they would never be able to top the Criterion release.

Ugh....I feel like I'm the only one who thought the BWP was a lame movie then and I still do now. Sure it definitely changed horror films and I give it credit for being something different. However, I still thought it wasn't good.... That's the first movie I ever felt ripped off on. Paranormal Activity....I tried not to laugh the entire time.... I enjoyed watching the rest of the audience freak out, that was best part of that movie.... I must be different in the found footage horror movies, don't really work for me.....

That looks really good. Comes out the same day as 31, another horror film that I want to see. Adam Wingard has not done a bad film yet.

Oh come on, BWP is one of, if not the most divisive horror movie of all time. You find just as many people hating it as loving it.

I F*****' love the Blair Witch Project. Its definitely one of my all-time favorite horror films. I'm definitely excited by this new film. Though I actually still haven't even seen Book of Shadows.
