My issue with Scream!, is the choice of art used, on the discs themselves. They usually do a great job, but sometimes, meh. Two bad examples for me, Return of the Living Dead and Saturn 3. I did like the art for Lifeforce, international poster art, on the discs.

Still, I'm appreciative that they work so hard, on content.

^ What was used.

Another stinker was the reverse used for Lake Placid which featured an image of a creative coms crocodile in the back. Worst part is that we had a choice of that or the much better Jaws homage theatrical poster, but the SF Facebook followers voted for the former.

I'll never understand why Scream didn't use the great VHS art (which is what everyone grew up with anyway, so it has both style and nostalgic value) for Pumpkinhead.

Can someone explain to me what exactly are "Shout Select" titles, what sets them apart from the rest of the Shout Factory titles?

No, not really. I was half joking. I am a Scream fan. Just look at my list to see how many I own! However, if Scream ignored a director who was willing to sign copies of their release, that is unacceptable.

The point of my post was to really get more info about how to get Jim Wynorski's autograph because I am a fan and have a large horror / cult autograph collection.

Shout Selects will be releasing non-horror genre titles like The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, Midnight Run and the Bill & Ted movies.

Scream Factory is strictly for horror now.

I just got Banzai and it is a Collector's Edition with new extras, new artwork and slipcover, looks really great.

They're still pretty loose with the horror distinction.

No. (At least the review copies didn't have one)

Smile Review for The Thing CE (w/audio issues question)

Can anyone who has received an early copy confirm that these are the only two scenes with sync issues? Thanks! For some reason my posts haven't been showing up, so here's hoping.

I think Shout doesn't ship overseas. Will overseas customers be able to get these Shout exclusive titles, like from Diabolik.com or somewhere?

Shout Select titles will NOT come with slipcovers. Only the Scream Factory Collector's Editions. I believe some of the IFC titles may have also had slips but not all of them.

Some of them do though. Buckaroo Banzai had one, and it appears Bill and Ted will as well. It's going to be a case by case scenario.

I know a lot of people already own Child's Play SE but I hope the upcoming CE will sell well. Otherwise SF may not be interested in releasing Child's Play 2 and 3 CE.

Don't feel too bad - I shelled out $32 and some change for TIMEWALKER. It hurt but I gotta have this in HD. Luckily for me I have ZERO interest in the other titles in this bunch

Preordered Deathstalker, Metalstorm, and Message from Space for $85.99. Shipping was $6.99. Thankfully no tax in NY.

I'm glad to see people are biting with those limited Shout titles because I really want to see what else they'd have to offer in that line.
