Titles Scream Factory needs to do

Gremlins (the current blu ray is awful. The recent 2k restorations from Scream have been awesome)

Predator (why hasn't this been remastered yet?)
Predator 2 (Current blu has a lot of DNR)
Critters (not been released)
Jacob's Ladder (Current blu ray leaves much to be desired)

I've heard rumors of late 2017, but I don't believe shooting has begun yet.

On twitter, Scream have said that Tales from the Hood might be a CE, depending on the extras.

Your favorite nightmares come to life in a horror/fantasy salute to the age-old bedtime story ritual. Travel on a mysterious journey to a medieval world populated by blood-crazed witches, evil experiments and captive maidens. Then from the catacombs and dark caverns of medieval Europe you plunge into modern suburbia and the frolicsome adventures of a nubile lady jogger tracked by a savage werewolf. Finally, sensuality becomes macabre black comedy on the trail of three escaped mental patients who share a country house with a daffy murderess. Stars Melissa Leo (The Fighter), Scott Valentine (Family Ties) and Matt Mitler (The Mutilator, Breeders)

More details will be announced sometime in December but we can confirm that the Director is heavily-involved (always a good thing) so expect some great extras! Pre-order now for early shipping @https://www.shoutfactory.com/f…/film-horror/deadtime-stories

I wonder if that might have been caused by some hold up with Ben and Willard? At least it gives me a chance to catch up.

Maybe a heavier than normal month on the Shout Select side of things?

Totally random, but I would love to see Scream release Darkman II and III.

I can see the Darkman sequels getting a double feature release.

Would be nice if they include the failed TV pilot as a bonus feature.

Tales From the Hood and Firestarter are must haves!

I'm worried about Tales From the Hood actually. Didn't the director himself say awhile back that the film print or something was lost?

I don't think I've ever seen Deadtime Stories. If it looks good I might get that one too.

Firestarter is an 80's horror classic so I'm glad it'll be receiving some TLC from a company that understands and cares about giving films the respect and recognition they deserve. In other words, I'm glad there's going to be an edition other than the crappy barebones Universal release.

These two were awesome announcements, can't wait!

But really I was pretty excited by their Halloween announcements, will try picking up all 10.

What is everyone think of The Vagrant? I've never heard of it before until SF announced it the other day. Paxton & Ironside I'm in for sure but surprised I have never heard of it.

Shout! has previously released it in a 4-Film DVD set if you wish to check it out.

My father has vague recollection of the movie, says it was good. I've certainly been wanting to see it.

Now that Tales from the hood is coming out which was originally distributed by HBO pictures on laserdisc and VHS like 1986's The Hitcher and Ricochet, does anyone think that those have a good chance of getting released by Scream Factory now too?
