I wish Image would release the blu-ray of it! Along with "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark", "Flowers in the Attic", "The Initiation", and "Mountaintop Motel Massacre". I would rather have a bare bones blu than no blu at all.

I definitely agree with the first part, and I'm guessing they're done with the series, and will just sit on the rest of the catalog.

Such a bummer that Image chose to release so many of those on DVD only like "Creepshow 2". I feel like that would have been far more warranted than say "Vamp". I have Image's Blu-ray of "Vamp" and am completely cool with it but when you're comparing it to other films they could have given the Blu-ray treatment too, "Creepshow 2" seemed like one that should have been more of a priority. Hopefully, one day they'll do it or just let Scream Factory have at it

If only Image Entertainment would give "Creepshow 2" to Scream Factory. That would made me a very happy man. Now that the German blu-ray was heavily cut and the Italian blu-ray was a disaster,my only hope now is a US release. But it seems unlikely that Image Entertainment is going to release it.

Just picked up a copy of "When a Stranger Calls" / "Happy Birthday to Me" on blu-ray at walmart. It was Mill Creek, and I hadn't heard a thing about these films coming out on blu-ray, so it surprised me when I saw it. It was $5 too!
And "Happy Birthday to Me" is supposed to have the original soundtrack, not the disco version, and they both have been reported to look very clear.

Just making sure you guys heard about this print, because I heavilly keep up with what's coming out when, and this took me by surprise.



The "Hostel" / "Hostel 2" set was horrendous. I am just gonna get a refund to buy another copy of the "When a Stranger Calls" / "Happy Birthday to Me" set, because I'm OCD about my movies and I want to put them in their own place alphabetically. I usually do that if they're cheap. I'm not too picky if its costing me money. Then, I'll rebuy "Hostel" and "Hostel 2" in their feature-loaded single releases.

The Stuff is the cult-genius stuff of which great SF titles are made , and yeah, sounds like they've been abandoned by their previous owner.

The New World Pictures have been shuffled around, so after Anchor Bay, they don't stay at any new owner for very long. If Scream's looking for mid-80's cult, there's a lot of NWP to be found if they can get their hands on it.

I did a blind buy for When a Stranger Calls / Happy Birthday to Me. Someone had a new copy of the Blu Ray for 8.99 on ebay. Since I dont have any Walmarts near me, it was the best deal I could find.
I just hope they are good (by my standards) movies

Got some cash for the holidays, decided to complete my Scream Factory Collection and fill the holes I was missing. Just ordered Terror Train, They Live, Death Valley, The Island, and Deadly Blessing from ImportCDs and pre-ordered all of the February & March titles from Amazon. Can't wait to dig into them all!
