Would love to see Burnt Offerings come out on BLU. The transfer some correctly could look good in HD. I know they used some diffused lighting / filters from time to time so it would look soft In those scenes. It used to scare me to death as a kid. Still very well made. Creepy score too.

Be cool to have reversible original poster art work also!

I had very low expectations on the cover anyway. It's too busy for my taste and it shows
[Show spoiler]"the burned face & the skull"...
too much spoilers IMO. I wish the slipcover were reversible. Just an opinion.

I dig the artwork for The Burning...yes at first glance it is like wow in your face but it is very cool when you take a second to look at it.

Love the new commissioned artwork glad it's a collector's edition so I can have that for the slip cover and the original artwork for the inside cover. In my eyes these guys can do no wrong as a die hard horror fan.

Never seen this before anywhere. Someone had some time on their hands and dreamed it up. Woulda been cool though if it actually happened in the 80's with Ernest.

Naturally, the artwork for the one title I've been wanting the most since Shout started announcing titles on Facebook (implying it'll be the next one given a date) after I've already put down pre-orders for FIVE other Shout/Scream titles.

Goddamn Shout's taking all my money this year...

Love the new art for The Burning. I always use the original covers on the Blu-ray sleeve, but like having these new pieces of art on the slipcase. After being very disappointed in the last few new art reveals (Prison, Phantasm II, From Beyond) I'm more than happy with the excellent art that's been revealed for Lifeforce and The Burning. Long live Scream Factory!

Yeah my guess was something like that, i need to order them separately myself and it is not easy let me tell you that

If Shout isn't in a position to buy black blu-ray cases then neither are most individuals. Minimum quantities from distributors start at 5000 units. The only other option is to purchase them from a SK ebay seller and I'm not about to spend $5 a case simply because he doesn't want to ship more than one at a time.

You can buy 29 for $64 or 70 for $130 from Nisei.
