I was just saying that the art that the guy posted look much cooler imo then the one that was chosen.

God, talk about a group of overly aggressive people. You don't like the art!?!?! Bullet to head...but really I don't mind it but think the more subtle art looks better then the bright art flashy art. This one here.

At least we can all agree that this is one title a lot of us will be getting correct? Too bad Olive is getting Cujo, would have loved to see some sick art for that one.

Overall, I am a supporter of the newly drafted artwork. Sure, some covers have looked better than others but that all boils down to personal preference. While people are entitled to voicing their opinions on the covers, I just think that whether it's positive or negative, it's nothing anyone should be losing sleep over for. If you're not a fan of the new art that's the pleasure of Scream Factory providing the reversible sleeves. Personally, with the Collector's Editions I always switch the sleeve to the original 1-sheet poster because the slipcover is already showcasing the new art. I like showcasing the best of both worlds.

I think it's fair to say that anyone posting in this forum isn't stopping themselves from buying any of the Scream Factory titles simply because they don't like the new art. That would just seem a little nuts since it's the treatment of the films themselves we truly care for. That all said, I think that the new art is definitely adding something special to Scream Factory's Collector's Editions and I'd hate to see them ditching these efforts because not everyone was a fan of the artwork.

I won't complain but I'm loving The Seven-Per-Cent Solution cover artwork! I figure if I get original poster artwork for reverse than I'm fine when it comes to the horror titles. I keep the slipcases and reverse the insert artwork and get the best of both worlds. :-)

It was meant to be a COMPLIMENT. Sheesh.
Scream's still seen as a quality brand, some of us just like to keep it that way.

I was always getting it regardless. It's the actual film I like.

I really like The Burning art. I think it's scream's best thus far.

Though I would love to see something more from James Rheem Davis besides the Phantasm cover.

The hard to please fans like to complain when a film doesn't get released, then whine even more when someone actually does it. There's always something...

I, for one, am just glad these movies are getting blu-ray releases.
I'm sure it would be way easier for Cliff and Shout to just throw out dvd-only bare-bones releases with no deluxe packaging. I'm completely satisfied with their efforts, and hope they aren't influenced by the avid-complainers that seem to bombard their Facebook page and forums.

So, thanks everyone at Shout! Keep up the awesome work!

I'm really looking forward to the blu-ray of "The Town that Dreaded Sundown"! Even if it is paired with "The Evictors", as it most likely will be, I won't complain because the fans should feel lucky these movies are getting such classy treatment to begin with...

I think the guy who did "From Beyond" and "Prison" is doing the "Night of the Comet" artwork. I think it'll look good. But I'm also curious to see what artwork will be in the same vein as "Phantasm II".

I rest my case

I have a few Japanese BD releases and they look even better in real life. Would people pay a few bucks more for Scream Factory to release their BD in black?

be nice

I never even realized, until I dug it out, that my LOTR Extended Edition boxset is all in black cases (with gold cover art).
And that, from close personal observation, makes it official: It's just classier. Don't worry, we'll know it's Blu, as long as there's the metallic Logo at the top.

In what way was that even remotely close to a compliment??

Thank You Shout/Scream Factory...

Dillweeds like these guys really give cinema and horror fans a bad name. Eveyone says we're hard to please. But everyday girls like me are very easilly satisfied, so what excuse do they have?

Once again, the original poster art is on the reverse side if you prefer it. No one is forcing you to use the new artwork, which some of us actually like.

You guys want to see bad cover art, here you go:

I like Scream Factory's artwork, and you can tell it was done by someone who appreciates the film.

Now that's a film I'd love to see get a Blu-ray upgrade! The Lionsgate disc is actually a decent one, for them.
