I wouldn't be opposed to that, but I'd REALLY like to see her participate in some extras for a Scream Factory release of Suspiria (yeah, I know it probably won't happen, but I can dream)...
I wish we had Suspiria

The only way Id get a Suspiria Blu is if matched the awesome 3 disc Anchor Bay DVD. I can say the same for Dawn of the Dead, it has to be the same as that wonderful Anchor Bay set with all the goodies..

Of course, if you do happen to be 18-24 female and into Halloween III, The Howling and The Fog--and a cheerleader at that--more power to you. Where were you when I was in high school?
Well..... I'm an average guy who likes cult and arthouse films and I think Scream Factory deserves some applause.

Like I said, I'm an average guy who dated the prom queen at my high school and now we are happily married. I played as the starting quarterback in the last two years at high school and lead the team in a great comeback against our rivals to win a championship, 4 TD passes in the last 45 seconds of the game that I believe wont be beaten for a Millenium.

College was a breeze, I decided against a football career and went into law along with teaching myself IT and programingand this has resulted in a career where I formed one of the top 500 companies according to forbes. After retiring at 37 I have decided to dedicate my life to my family and the community where I can say now that each waking moment is a wank.

Just an average guy...

Aside from the booklet, art cards, music video and Soundtrack CD, the Australian Blu-Ray has everything from the US DVD;

What I did was just buy a multi-disc blu-ray case and put my US DVD in with it. Might get the art cards downsized to fit in too at some stage.

I think The Stuff went to Image, and there doesn't appear to be any plans for a blu-ray release.

Since we're on the subject of who owns what, who currently owns The Hand?

Warner Bros. owns it right now. They just put out a dvd 4-pack from their
Twister Terror Collection. The Twisted Terror Collection originally included:

- The Hand
- Dr. Giggles
- Wes Craven's Deadly Friend
- From Beyond The Grave
- Eyes of a Stranger
- John Carpenter's Someone's Watching Me

All of which I would love for Scream Factory to get ahold of if they ever could strike a deal with WB.

Inexplicably, Dr. Giggles is the only one of those six that WB decided was worthy of Blu-ray.

People keep asking this and I know they're probably isn't a straight-up answer.

When are the Friday announcement's expected to resume??

I'm more that satisfied with what we've been given already, but those announcements are what helped me make it through the week. Lol.
I don't really care if its anytime soon, but is there any way we can get some sort of vague estimation at what month or how many weeks from now we'll see them return?

I don't think we'll be seeing any more for sometime. There has only been 7 Scream Factory releases since they started and of the announced titles we still have another 23 films on the way. I'm sure with that alone Scream Factory has their work cut out for them. If I had to guess, I feel like we won't see any new announcements until mid-late Summer.

there are no plans to return to the Friday announcements. One can only take so many negative comments on the FB page. We get them for the artwork...and our choice of releases. So, by eliminating the announcements, we cut our daily negative comments in half.

We likely won't have the Friday announcement routine anymore but I'm sure they (Shout) will tease us with info as they acquire more films throughout the year. Futureworld, Timerider and others were sort of revealed out of nowhere recently. Personally, I prefer to have left-field announcements coming at me rather than me biting my fingernails waiting for a specific time.

Nothing like the minority ruining it for the rest of who actually do love everything you guys put out and do. What a shame, I always looked forward to your Friday posts of Facebook.

Well said! Aside from the Scream Factory line, Shout is already kicking 2013 with some really exciting cult announcements and I'm sure as the year progresses many more will come along.

Scream Factory if my favorite line of blu rays to collect as of this moment. Have purchased every single blu put out so far, and will continue to do so.

Even titles that I have little/no familiarity with, like Prison, I will be purchasing. Why? Because I love horror that much, and will buy as much as I can get my hands on. I participate yearly in the October horror challenge, and watching the same titles year after year gets dull, so part of the fun is discovering new titles.

So big thank you to Cmac and all the crew at Shout Factory. These releases are fantastic, and some of the best releases of the year.

For some reason Facebook tends to attract the idiotic and the uninformed - don't take it to heart! The Criterion Facebook page is also largely populated by the clueless and the childish, so you're not alone...
