I'm really really really really hoping somebody puts this out in the US this Fall or something. I almost bought a region-free player just to get the Arrow version. Ultimately I decided to spend that money on more blu-rays instead of a new player, but I'm still dying for Matinee. The more Dante we can get on blu, the better! (Small Soldiers too, please!)

Oof. If that happens, I may go region-free. I hope Scream does have it though. I know they're really competitive with Arrow, and since Arrow didn't put it out in the US, it makes me think Scream must have something cooking over here. Either that, or there's just some weird rights thing holding it up for everybody. It did take a long time to even come to DVD, after all.

So far I've watched Psycho 2 & 3, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, and Slumber Party Massacre 2 from my order.

Psycho's sequels were entertaining, though I must say I found 2 to be more well written/with a better plot. Having Vera in it helped as well. Tony Perkins is excellent in both! The nun from the third was my biggest gripe, and I did like the reporter character.

Sundown had some eerie elements, and the killer in general was creepy. Definitely a little too heavy on the cop stuff (the cop in drag scene... WHAT?!).

SPM 2 was WILD. I wasn't expecting something so... musical. Definitely a fun little romp, though it is a bit annoying that it takes an hour to get to the killing. Once it gets going though it's nonstop. A real who's who of slashers. The girl from Psycho 3 and Friday 5, the girl from Friday 7, the guy from Pumpkinhead and Slaughterhouse... Fun little tid bits. Great acting from the female cast in general in this one. The killer was so hammed up I don't even know whether to laugh, cringe, or cheer when I see him.

Next up is Slumber Part 3. Ought to be interesting!

I got Arrow Video's version of Psycho II pre-ordered, so I don't need the Scream Factory release.

III, IV and the Gus Van Sant microwaving, however, I do.

So I guess I can expect Lifeforce and The Howling to ship on the 30th?

Looking forward to your thoughts as I ordered this pack as well.

With hours of the sale winding down, anyone have thoughts on The Editor? I know it's a satirical throwback to giallo films, but is it any good?

Slumber Party 3 was a lot of fun! More serious than the second, and a lot like the first. Really enjoyed it. Overall very pleased with this combo pack. Don't think I would have ever bit the bullet without this sale. I'm tempted to go back on Scream's site one last time before tomorrow to see if I want anything else from the sale.

I'm watching I, Madman now. The first 10 minutes have been... unique.

I think that The Food of the Gods/Frogs double feature is a great Scream Release. I've been a fan of Frogs since childhood, but The Food of the Gods is one heck of a fun Saturday afternoon flick. Look for film noir extraordinaire Ida Lupino in a supporting role.

Just finished I, Madman. What a truly interesting little movie. Some genuinely frightening scenes (like the book store at the end), just a shame the CGI or whatever monster looks so hokey in 2017. So glad I took a chance on this one, will make for great October revisits.

very cheesy, terrible effects (magnified rats) but loads of fun and very entertaining. Have you seen EMPIRE OF THE ANTS? If you like that one, you'll like this one!

First order contained:
Invaders From Mars
The Final Terror
Message From Space
Time Walker
The Velvet Vampire
Up From The Depths

Decided to pick up some more and got:
Swamp Thing
Q: The Winged Serpent
Empire Of The Ants / Jaws Of Satan
The Food Of The Gods / Frogs
TerrorVision / The Video Dead
Tales From The Crypt / Vault Of Horror

There's still a couple I want to get, but because of this sale, I didn't buy anytime during the TT/SAE sale and won't be able to buy anything for the Criterion/B&N sale, if it's this month.
