To my knowledge, the only ones that have leaked over the years were The Car (thanks to a retailer listing which appeared literally hours before) and Dead Ringers (thanks to an actor mentioning he was involved in the extras). I can't see how most of their proposed SDCC slate (assuming they announce 10+ titles) would leak so early.

2) On the evidence of that recent podcast, I think Scream are quite conscious of fans griping over 'double-dips', so I'd be surprised if they announced so many at one event, knowing the type of response they're likely to get (even if there are some huge grabs here). In last year's SDCC announcement they limited the re-releases to Poltergeist 2 and 3, which was fine as we got 11 'new' titles on top of that. I expect double dips to be in there, but not to this extent.

3) Most titles announced at SDCC will be released in the period from November 2017-Spring 2018. There are some major titles here, and we know Scream like to release heavy hitters in the Sep-Oct period.

4) Though MGM seem willing to licence almost anything, I have to think Terminator remains out of bounds. MisterLime said as much only earlier this month, and I can't see why anything would have changed since then.

5) Apparently Arrow are working on a 4K restoration of Killer Klowns. Such a release surely can't be UK-only given the costs involved. Either that, or they're splitting costs with Shout (a la To Live and Die in L.A.)

This isn't to say that I don't believe Scream won't acquire the Child's Play and Jaws sequels eventually. In fact I could see them announcing Child's Play 2 and 3 at SDCC. I just don't think we'll see all the titles on that list revealed at SDCC.
I believe the Tales from the Crypt movies were leaked as well, I remember someone posting pictures of the exclusive SDCC Scream Factory buttons and at least those two were leaked that way.

I think a few of the SDCC announcements will be...

Scream Factory
Hell Night
Last House on the Left
Child's Play 2
Child's Play 3
Screamtime
Misery

I think a Paramount deal is possible, but I also think it's probably too early to get any titles from such a deal, since the Warner/Paramount thing JUST ended, unless Scream has been prepping work on titles before now, but not likely. IF there is such a deal, I wouldn't expect titles from it before 2018.

And tossing a few shot in the dark guesses for the Shout Select lineup as well...

Shout Select
The Usual Suspects (with steelbook)
Silence of the Lambs (with steelbook)
Cloak & Dagger
Gotcha!
Raising Arizona
Shakedown
Revenge of the Nerds 2: Nerds in Paradise
Problem Child
Problem Child 2
Spaceballs

You can't get those Childs Play movies outside of the boxset. Plus Jaws 3D looks awful currently, Universal were lazy shits with the current release.
I'm fine with them re-releasing these, but I want to see some new to Blu-ray stuff at Comic Con as well and not just a bunch of stuff that's currently available. And if people really wanted most of these, they would have bought them by now. Most of these have been cheap, under $10 on most. Chucky set was down to $30 for 6 movies at one point.

Child's Play 2 and 3 already have separate blu ray releases (UK editions) that you can get on amazon with their own cases and artwork. The transfers are stellar too

TV Cuts are an interesting thing to see for sure though I am not sure if I would ever gravitate to them other than as a curiosity.
Transfers are middling and no special features, dislike the last two movies in the set too.

The Tales from the Crypt movies, like Army of Darkness, were never intended to be announced at SDCC - they were October titles, and would have been announced at the end of June/early July, just that the SDCC buttons revealed them a couple of weeks ahead of schedule.

According to MisterLime (I've linked to the quote above) MGM has not made The Terminator available for licencing. This could change of course, but it'll probably be a while before it does.

I don't think I would buy any of these. MGM's Terminator is incredible and I just bought Jaws 2 & 3 last year and don't like them enough to double dip.

IIRC, Mister Lime said/inferred in the KLSC thread not long ago that MGM is currently willing to license out everything except the James Bond films, the Rocky films, The Terminator, and Robocop.

007 series and RoboCop don't need anymore editions unless they go UHD. The rest of the Rocky series does however need new scans.

Imo, Terminator is bigger/more recognizable/more lucrative than any of those.

Make that all of them, combined. I don't see Shout, or anyone else for that matter, getting their hands on The Terminator.

Would be cool if Shout could get the US rights RoboDoc/RoboCop documentary from the UK.

I'd like Shout to take a crack at Secret of Nimh. Or an American Tail.
