I contacted Scream Factory and asked them if they wanted my dupes back.

If they'd like them back, I will send them.

If not, and somebody wants to swap dupes, that would work too.

Shout should offer to send a free future CE to anyone who returns their dupes

Is today when Shout is supposed to announce the 3 Shout Select titles and some October Scream Factory announcements? OR are they still out of office?

I emailed Shout and requested a return shipping label for the duplicate package they sent me. I also told them that this has happened to many orders. I will let everyone know what they tell me.

I guess the right thing would be to send them back. Although they did screw up and we technically own the film's now.

Feel the same but will probably be disappointed. At this point all I care for are collectors edition of Child's Play and Jaws sequels.

And the Child's Play sequels seem unlikely with Universal re-releasing the Chucky set with the new movie this October. Maybe next year Scream can do something with them.

Personally I'm hoping for some surprises, Jaws 3 I'd happily upgrade but I was fine with 2 and 4.

I sent an email asking to cancel Slither and they replied with a shipping notice and tracking number for today. Isn't that a bit early for it to be released?

True but technically I don't think it will really affect the sale of a re-released Chucky set. I mean the last set is still available and it's just a repackaged set they are putting out plus the new film. It's like releasing the same line of shirts with an extra button on them. Same set only difference is with a new film and new artwork. The CEs will be for die hard fans who already own the last set anyway and the newly released set will be for those who don't own the last set and only care for the films and not the extras.

No, if you order direct, they ship it a few weeks early.

idk... Hell Night is apparently coming october 24th.. so that is quite a suprise .. i remain optimistic about other real suprises for october... like Fright Night 2? i know its unlikely and its a stretch but who knows lol just hoping for ones not on bluray yet...

All of the Collector's Editions came with Slipcover initially. And a lot of the IFC films that Scream releases get them as well (stuff like Babadook, Backcountry, etc.) None of the Double Features or catalog titles get slipcovers.

Is it fair the say they still produce slips for all titles. For example, Halloween 3 and Pumpkinhead came with them last month. They must still make them and it's a matter of luck whether an individual receives.

I was just under the impression they stopped after three months of initial release.
