The only time I've known them to announce on a Saturday was a couple of years ago when Halloween fell on a Saturday and they announced TCM 2 or Manhunter, I can't recall which.

Just got done watching Swamp Thing still a enjoyable film. Does any of you guys know if Scream has any plans of releasing the sequel? There's a British version out that's region B and A. Still would like to see Scream do a release of it.

I heard the sequel is supposed to be coming out but not sure by who or when.

I am about to watch my Destroyer/Edge of Sanity Double Feature. I've only got time for one tonight. Any recommendations on which is the better film?

Haven't seen either yet, but Destroyer has been on the radar.

"Edge of Sanity" is a much better film IMO. "Destroyer" is really awful, but good for a few laughs.

So what's the final prognosis on the double shipments?
Is Scream automatically sending a pre-paid box or do they need to be notified. Will we be rewarded for honesty lol?

Shout should re-release The Stepfather on bluray through Scream Factory. If they did a new 2k scan it'd look better for sure. Slap some new extras (maybe a Terry O'Quinn interview) and it'd be a worthy upgrade.

Should I consider Hell Night a sure thing or should I put it in a "holding pattern" and wait for an official announcement before getting too excited? I suppose multiple etailer preorder pages is a good sign but, still, Shout's denials....

I'd wait for an official announcement. It's always possible something fell through or it's been delayed.

I'm hoping we get a couple more October announcements prior to Comic Con, but nothing so far today.

Could it still be announced tomorrow or Wednesday or is that too late? Really really hoping it's not apart of comic con announcements only cuz I love not knowing about any of them, it's like a real suprise.. best buy has it up for pre order, so it's gotta be coming in October rite?

So I ordered the following titles on Thursday June 15th as part of the 5th anniversary sale...

[BD/DVD] Lifeforce $11.49
[BD] Deadly Blessing [Collector's Edition] $11.49
[BD/DVD] Swamp Thing $9.97
[BD/DVD] X-Ray / Schizoid [Double Feature] $9.97
[BD] Bad Dreams / Visiting Hours $12.49
[BD] Metamorphosis / Beyond Darkness [Double Feature] $12.49

All were marked as being available on July 7th since I had ordered later in the sale and most items were on back order until that date. I know a few folks with back ordered items have already received their packages but is there anyone else still waiting on their orders? I received 2 of my other films a few weeks back but have heard nothing in regards to the rest of my order. Normally I wouldn't bat much of an eye at waiting, but given the problems with the ordering system and the fact that so many others received duplicate orders I'm a tad worried that my unfulfilled order may have been negatively affected by the ordering problems as well. I did pay with paypal, so my order was billed in full immediately. How long do you think I should wait before reaching out to them? I assume that I'll hear something by the end of the week, but at the same time since nearly a month has already gone by I'm also a bit curious about my order status.

I'm still waiting on 7 items from the first order I placed on the first day. I'm waiting until the end of the week before contacting. Likely they are just waiting on a title or two to come back in stock before shipping.

It's pretty ridiculous that they haven't announced Hell Night yet considering I've already pre-ordered it through Best Buy.
