If Scream does release The Last House on the Left, I hope they don't go for the floaty head comic book look yet again. That's a title that would actually benefit from new cover art, and something subtle or abstract could suit it nicely.

Still waiting on some titles to ship from the sale.

Watched Let's Be Evil tonight and it was a huge letdown. I usually enjoy the IFC/Scream releases, but this one didn't have much going for it besides some pretty lighting. Out ~300 movies Scream has on blu-ray I would put this one near the bottom. It is watchable, but there are much better titles to pick over this.

FINALLY! Received my order today. Slips with Psycho II and Lord Of Illusion.

Don't know why Shout! wouldn't respond to any emails though.

Yeah, that's odd. I've found them to be extremely helpful and quick to respond to any emails I've ever sent. Their system had an issue at one point with processing Canadian orders. You'd place an order, get the confirmation email, and immediately afterwards you'd get another email saying there was a problem with your order and to email for clear it up. Happened to me several times. I'd email and I'd get a response within minutes usually, very helpful, very polite. For the replacement discs I emailed for, had a response within 24 hours, again, very professional, very polite. Not sure why they never responded to you

Not sure who owns the rights, but I'd love to see a double of Maury Dexter's 1963 films 'The Day Mars Invaded Earth' and 'House of the Damned'. Feels like a SF double!

If Scream Factory still gets stuff from Fox, I think a Collector's Edition of Broken Lizard's CLUB DREAD (featuring the theatrical version/director's preferred version, as well as the uncut/unrated version from DVD) would be awesome.

Another thing for Scream Factory to consider from Fox is the last 2 seasons of The Strain. Season 3 was released on DVD only in the US, and season 4 (the final season) will have the same fate. The only option currently is a very expensive import from Japan. Do a season 3/4 set (or maybe a 1-4 set with new extras) and fans like me will be happy.

I would definitely buy that! While they're at it, maybe look into a US release for Z Nation, if it's a possibility.

Nice. My Best Buy is terrible. Aside from two copies of Chopping Mall, I've never come across anything unique.

I did find a Blu of My Bloody Valentine 1981 Special Edition across the street at the used shit store. $5, like new. Probably one of the better items I'll come across.

If Scream Factory is still working with Fox, I'd love to see them release SHOCK TREATMENT to combat the upcoming Arrow release for us Region-A'ers.

I can't believe it's taken so long for it to come out stateside.

Thinking they might have it since Arrow's release is UK only.

IDE I've to see SF distribute Misery. The MGM is good but could use improvement.

If this has been reported on already, I apologize, but I have started seeing Shout and Scream factory titles for sale at Meijer stores in Indiana. They have never been known for having a particularly strong (or reasonably priced) movie section but they have a nice selection of Shout/Scream stuff now for $20. Saw Windows, The Evictors, Trespass, The Lonely Lady, etc. all at Meijer for sale last week. I was stunned (and very pleased). I actually like buying movies in person and these are nice prices to boot!

Do everyone's copies of Final Exam have terribly hissy audio? Can't remember if I've seen it discussed here.

Wouldn't surprise me. It's been a common issue with audio on Scream releases. I don't own the film though but own others that do have the same problem

Okay just finished watching Final Exam and as I said a couple posts up the audio hiss was really bad and distracting at first but either it got better as it went on or I got used to it. Gotta say I highly enjoyed this film I thought it had really good interesting characters, some genuinely creepy moments that took me by surprise, and a really good score and atmosphere. Not the best 80s slasher for sure but one of the better ones in my opinion for certain.

I literally just bought Final Exam and sold off my Scorpion DVD. I really hope it's not too distracting.

Finally got a shipping notice on the last of my backordered titles. Got an email on 7/15, so hopefully I'll have these early next week, shipping was very fast on the previous shipments.

I've still not heard anything about the duplicates I got from the last batch.
