Say cmac, what are the chances of Prom Night getting the Shout! Factory treatment?

Echo Bridge refuses to talk to me about sublicensing the film from them. Same with Curtains and the Miramax titles. I've called and written them.

I watched mine tonight. Borgnine is terrific, even if the movie itself was a bit of a mess. I enjoyed it though.

Amazon.ca seemed to be shipping out Deadly Blessing and (I think) The Nest early.

Hey Cliff. I know that it has been stated that Albert Pyun's Captain America is coming out via Scream/Shout. Any chance for some of his other films
such as Radioactive Dreams, Dangerously Close, Vicious Lips, or Down Twisted? All of his films are currently owned by MGM. I don't believe that any of them have been released on dvd before.

Also would love if your company could get Shout at the Devil with Roger Moore and Lee Marvin.

I am so excited for all of the films you have planned for this upcoming year!

Thanks for all that you do!

Well, not that I'm claiming to be an expert, but I have 2 dvds that say Warner Bros. On the back. Did WB get the rights for a bit? And the wikipedia page says Warner Bros too

****. My request at the Shout! Forums was all for nothing then. I hate Echo Bridge.

I'm pretty sure there's a number you can call via their site. I had to call because they wouldn't replace my Halloween 3-pack blu-ray. Still haven't.

And you may need to contact Alliance/Platinum Disc, who owns Echo Bridge. They previously released "Prom Night" before turning their American-branch into echo bridge.

They could be in control of that and Echo Bridge is too retarded to relay that info back to you...

No offence to anyone who thinks the fall under the category "retarded"

EDIT:
Alliance went out of business this week, and this is news as they were arguably the largest distributor in Canada, and was once very large in the dawn of dvd in the USA in the late 90s.

Platinum Disc was the former name of Echo Bridge, so they're all on their own.

Will they even respond? I mean the only reason Echo Bridge only bothered to do something with Godzilla vs. Biollante is because they're under Toho's contract to make a quality disc.

So, can someone post the email link to Echo Bridge so we can all take 20 seconds out of our busy schedule to tell them about "Prom Night" and "Curtains".

If we all do it, it WILL make a difference...

Just imagine unwrapping "Prom Night" and "Curtains" on BD! New crisp artwork on a shiny slipcover. Special features and more... Giant wall posters of their original artwork...
Come on people.

Like I said, will they even listen? If someone from Shout! Factory couldn't convince them then what good are we?

Not that it will do much since they never seem to respond to emails but here is the home entertainment contact info:

... and corporate contact info:

If we don't at least try then we have no room to wish they could've gotten ahold of it.

And I just send them an email.

Echo Bridge owns CURTAINS outright? What possible reason could they have to refuse to sublicense it to a label that's interested in doing something with it? Would they lose money by licensing it? I hope they go out of business too
