Night Of The Demons 3 is my least favorite of the series. But I would like to see a blu-ray release. And it's a shame they couldn't raise enough funds to make a sequel to the remake. From what I read the sequel sounded interesting.

The rights for NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 3 have been somewhat of a mystery.
There's a long standing rumor that Paramount had it and Olive was in talks of getting it from them with the 2nd film, that didn't happen. Then there was a discussion that suggested Paramount actually DIDN'T own the film that it was with a Canadian company - that turned out to be false as well, although Paramount is still claiming non-ownership. The third film was made very cheaply and quickly. There were also a few other studios with their hands in the pot so to speak so it's entirely possible it has gone somewhere else, however the odds of someone figuring that out has been quite slim. I had a long discussion with the producers of the film and neither were happy with the end result. They both felt it was a mistake to make the film the way they did and wished they had done things differently. I even spoke with the director who didn't remember much from the film - being it had been years since he had seen it - didn't have fond memories of the film after seeing it. He didn't seem to have any issues with the production itself, a mere two weeks of filming, but more with the end result. At any rate he was very humble and seemed never the less proud of what was there. I know he said he'd be interested in a commentary on the film - but a disc never materialized. So the short n' skinny is there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer to who owns the title anymore; it could still be with Paramount, it could be with the producers, it also could be with a Canadian company. The big issue is no one cares enough to check. So it's chances of ever making it to an HD format officially are pretty slim. Last edited by chrismac87; 08-05-2017 at 03:48 AM. |

Just ordered a bunch of SF discs thru Amazon -- Slither, Species, Firestarter and Death Becomes Her -- to be sent to a locker for same-day shipping/delivery.
However, they decided to send it thru Lasership. I don't know if anyone else ever experienced this delivery service, but every single time I have, my items have either been late or lost. And already my shipment which should've arrived before 9pm yesterday is already late and undelivered to the locker location. ![]() They get lots of complaints. I don't know why Amazon still uses them. Such garbage! |

Lasership was supposedly founded in 1986 but until I'd never heard of them until about 5 years ago. They're a messenger service that probably started small and have now expanded a bit to include last mile delivery in the Northeast. Part of my job includes handling messenger deliveries, which is how I know about them. I don't think they do much background screening because a lot of the guys that work for them look very, um, unstable ![]() In my experience, Amazon very rarely uses the USPS for deliveries anymore. The USPS may handle the initial distribution but Amazon uses local couriers for what's now commonly called "last mile" delivery - a transaction that begins with a major carrier (USPS, UPS or FedEx) and is taken over by local vendors for final delivery. The Post Office hasn't delivered any of my Amazon orders in over a year. I don't know, maybe they still use the USPS for rural destinations but in major hub areas they mainly use couriers. |

Amazon is weird, a couple years ago they used LaserShip and I never had any problems with them. Then they stopped using them and everything is shipped by USPS and I had lots of problems with them (stuff lost, damaged, etc). Then about 6 or so months ago, Amazon them self would deliver my packages and now they have seem to stop doing it and have gone back to the USPS. |

95% of everything I order on Amazon which is a lot is delivered by UPS. That guy is hear 2-3 times a week. On a couple occasions I've gotten very small items through USPS, but not often. I've not had any problems with UPS this year. Last year I ordered a Christmas gift and it arrived crushed and smashed and not even inside a shipping box, they had just slapped a label on the item itself (a stand mixer), the glass bowl inside was shattered, it was crazy. I got an extra month of Prime for free plus a $25 store credit in addition to a refund, they were shocked something got shipped like that.

Amazon delivers almost all of my orders now (thank God) instead of USPS. I had major issues with USPS not delivering my packages on numerous occasions blu ray after blu ray a couple years ago for some reason. They would either get delivered to another address or get lost and amazon would have to send me a replacement. Its been a blessing ever since amazon has been delivering themselves. I got so tired of always worrying if my packages would get lost and they ended up that way. I'm a Prime member as well.

Yes I'm a Prime member but even when I wasn't everything still came through USPS. I actually prefer they come through USPS since I know it'll either be left in my mail box or I can just pick it up at the PO which is really close. I've never had a problem getting my stuff either.

As far as I'm aware everyone in Nebraska has their Amazon packages delivered via USPS. That includes folks that life in the country off of gravel roads or people in Downtown Omaha.

It may be, but it seems Amazon has transitioned more toward USPS as time goes on. Years ago, all of my shipments used to primarily come by UPS with a few via FedEx. Now, almost exclusively all orders are shipped via USPS. A few, on the rare occasion are delivered by UPS or FedEx.
